■ The Upper Kirby Management District approached Midway to help reactivate moribund Levy Park, a 6-acre urban park

■ Midway negotiated 99-year ground leases for two parcels framing the public park, a type of transaction the City of Houston and the Houston Parks + Recreation Department had never before entered into with a private developer

■ TIRZ 19 partnered with Upper Kirby District Foundation to fund over $10 million in public park amenities, transforming Levy Park into a world-class urban space

■ To reenergize the boundaries of Levy Park, Midway created Kirby Grove, a master-planned, mixed-use development containing Class-A office and retail buildings and a 270-unit luxury mid-rise residential tower

■ Midway was awarded the Real Estate Innovation award from the University of Houston Real Estate Center for groundbreaking public + private partnerships

■ Midway led the development of Aggie Park on Texas A&M campus

■ Serving as a project manager, Midway contributed its time and resources on a pro-bono basis, transforming 20-acres in the heart of Texas A&M’s campus into enhanced outdoor spaces for study, relaxation, entertainment, and recreation for students and visitors

■ Funded by The Association of Former Students and operated by Texas A&M, Aggie Park marked Midway’s third endeavor with Texas A&M

■ East River 9 and Riverhouse Houston opened in 2022, offering a casual, familyfriendly outdoor experience overlooking Buffalo Bayou and downtown

■ East River 9 is a public, nine-hole, parthree golf course and driving range

■ At East River 9 golf course, a permit is in process with the city and state to use water from Buffalo Bayou to irrigate the greens and landscaping throughout the course

■ Riverhouse Houston a family-friendly restaurant and patio bar —opened on the site of the 150-acre East River development in the Historic Fifth Ward
