Liliam M López, President/CEO of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Received a Doctorate Degree in Human Letters From St Thomas University presented by President David Armstrong and Provost, Michelle Johnson García recognizing her work of 29 years in the nonprofit and philanthropic field as President and CEO of the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
The SFLHCC is one of the top five Hispanic Chambers in the nation, and its Foundation has granted a million dollars in scholarships in the past 27 years to financially disadvantaged minority students.

Lopez graduated from St Thomas University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with honors.
