About I would say my key qualities as a designer reflect in the approach to the process: I always seek new and meaningful solutions to issues set in my assignments. Versatility and adaptability to different challenges are what I consider my strengths as well. This portfolio is supposed to show that, regarding topics I worked on as well as the means I used to display my ideas. I commit myself persistently to my tasks and perform constant self - evaluation. Besides that, I always consider and evaluate other people’s opinions and suggestions as I strongly believe in the crucial role of different points of view in design. I also try to motivate people around me and help them whenever possible which makes me very suitable for team work. I am a person that cannot settle in the sense that I am committed to constant progress, learning and self-improvement in every aspect.

Hard skill set Hand: Sketching (Pencil, pen, marker), Illustration Digital 2D: Adobe Photoshop, Indesign Digital 3D: Autodesk Maya, Autodesk Alias, Rhinoceros (modeling); Autodesk Showcase, Autodesk VRed, Luxion KeyShot (rendering)

Introduction The story behind the BAC Mono VR is a story of constant evolution. The initial task was simply to create a new generation of the renowned BAC Mono, finding interesting solutions to enclose the cockpit. However, the idea went well beyond figuring out the best possible ways to open the door, tackle visibility issues, etc. It grew into what might be an entirely new way to enhance driving excitement. As one of the brand pillars of BAC is creating innovative and unique products with bespoke ownership as well as best-in-class driving experience, I could not settle with creating just another supercar, but rather a breakthrough, unique among the others. The BAC Mono VR was born out of the necessity to address the driving - enthusiastic audience in the environment where rapid technological advancements mostly direct cars towards complete autonomy. A BAC, on the other hand, is supposed to act as a piece of sports equipment for a sport which is driving. A car that constantly requires its driver’s input and dedication but in return produces a smile on their face. Mono VR uses modern, emerging technologies to enhance its road behavior, overcoming certain common issues sports cars have nowadays. It is based on the crucial values of both engineering (lightweight, low center of gravity and an optimal amount of power for the best driving experience) and aesthetics (Inspired by Alex Garland’s Ex-Machina character called Ava, which is an astonishing example of what the closest possible bond between man and machine would look like). The beholder is intrigued by its unconventional aesthetics and the experience culminates the moment they press the accelerator and start driving. The main distinguishing feature of this car is the way it blends the real and the virtual world, the pure, undecorated drving sensation and video game experience. Buckle up, let’s discover how!

Introduction Timelessness is a property that distinguishes evocative from old, a “classic“ from a forgettable. There has been a vertiginous metamorphosis of human perception and fashion in the past 100 years, probably the most drastic one mankind has ever experienced. The timeless, however, remains through generations and even though it may not align with new technological discoveries, it still evokes admiration. Nobody has been able to crack the code of what makes something immortal in time, nobody can know for sure today what will be the classic tomorrow. However, going deeper under the surface, we can agree that, with few exceptions, what marks an epoch will remain timeless in the future. In the case of car styling, both of us picture a sports car from the first half of the 20th century featuring the famous “torpedo“ body style. One such car is the 1920 Alfa Romeo 20-30 HP Torpedo. What is particular about this car is that it marked the beginning of the name Alfa Romeo as we know it today. The Siluro (Italian translation for “Torpedo“) celebrates the 100th anniversary of the name Alfa Romeo. It pursues timelessness by marking the era we live in, where some of the most beautiful automotive pieces of art are made in the front-engined 2 seater granturismo layout. As the word “Alfa” phonetically associates with the greek letter Alpha that is the first letter in the Greek alphabet (which in this case alludes to the first ever car under the name Alfa Romeo), the starting point for Siluro’s form research was the well known symbol of the aforementioned letter.

CASIO G-Bike

Brief: Design an electric bicycle that would best fit into the inventory of a non-transportation related brand of choice.

31

Abstract Casio G-Shock watches are well known for being some of the toughest in class, offering immense durability and a long - lasting battery. Their rugged aesthetics tend to emphasize these properties. This is something I tried to transfer onto the G-Bike. A rigid frame made of titanium for no compromises on durability, a large battery whose positioning and shape do not sacrifice neither practicality nor aesthetics and an overall rugged design language that evokes a sensation of reliability that symbolizes G-Shock watches.

You might have learned in your chemistry lessons that the air we breathe in, the oxygen, supports fire.

That means the fire of the passion to create will keep on burning inside of me for as long as I breathe.
