Indiana has two principal types of terrian: slightly rolling land in the northern half of the state and rugged hills in the Lloyd southern, extending to the Ohio river. The highest point in the state is 1,257ft above sea level; the lowest point , Wright’s on the Ohio river is 320 ft. The richest soil is in the northern-central region, where the retreating glacier during the Moe Ice Age enriched the soil, scooped out the lakes, and cut passageways for rivers.

Landscape Design
The altitude of a landscape does not change. By using the difference in levels, the circulation and the construction of a vacation house becomes dynamic.
Nick Carraway’s free flow of consciousness. The programs in the interior space as well This Miller Beach house focuses on
as the structures have no sequence which resembles the flux of nature

Vertical woods act as strings of activity such as showering, bathing, and intimate space for communicating. Each wood pieces bounces off the sounds of people talking as well as water splashing. People feel humble inside of the opened floors and high ceilings. Though the two materials like limestone and woods bring the heaviness,
glass panels surrounds most of the facades which gives weightless quality and balances the gravity

While going on a journey, people sometimes need a space to casually sit on for a short amount of time. However, there are many places where a person has to force oneself to go into the restaurant to sit on a chair. In some plazas, too many tourists are crowded together, making it bothersome for pedestrians and travelers to take a rest.
Zob;en bench is a public chair to serve for peo-
ple who ventures around the narrow streets often. This bench can be seen near from small restaurants or bridges. It is convinient since the chair doen not take space and it is used for one to two people.

Where is the site?: Italy. Why?: there are lack of public chairs, people usually need to buy foods from restaurant to sit on the chair. The site needs new design of the bench.
People can either lean on the chair, or sit on top

Process
Artist Book
Inspired from 360 degree Art Book cread by
Yusuke Oono, Artist & Architect
He works at Tokyo and Teipei design company, and did several architectural projects such as designing a landscape, interiors, and furnitures. He used laser cutter to bind 40 page story book. The book can be rotated in to a circle, and viewerssee spectacular space inside of the pages.
It has sophisticated architectural qualities when it comes to describing landscapes, as well as a scale of the buildings in the tiny art book. For this project, I tried to go beyond from Yusuke’s story book, which concentrates to the architecture instead of narrative. Colors that I have added during the process, depicts a time frame in the book, which readers can imagine sunrise and sunset.
