Come for the corn, stay for the fest. This farming community is built around agriculture, and throws an annual festival to celebrate.

Named after Darien, New York, where many of its founding residents originated, Darien was established in the mid-1800s. Today the town is dedicated to enhancing the life of its residents.

As part of Southeast Wisconsin’s Walworth County, Darien is small but mighty, with just over 1,500 residents. The community is known for its Cornfest, held every September in West Park. The event includes a carnival, craft fair, live music, fireworks, parade, tournaments, and of course, corn. Darien also offers abundant recreation, with Wildwood Park offering ample green space and walking trails.

When it comes to housing, Darien offers investment opportunities, freestanding homes and wooded retreats.

Students are served by Delavan-Darien School District, which includes K-12 education.

With I-43 nearby, the community offers convenient transportation access.
