Elkhorn

Elkhorn is a town rich in history, tradition and warmth. For nearly a century, the community has been known as the “Christmas Card Town” due to the elaborate decorations that adorn its city center every holiday season. The tradition is commemorated by an annual parade.

Home to the Walworth County Fairgrounds, Elkhorn hosts several popular events including an Antique Flea Market, Ribfest, and the Walworth County Fair. As the largest county fair in the state of Wisconsin, the Walworth County Fair is considered one of the best of its kind and draws over 100,000 visitors.

There are plenty of recreational opportunities in the area, with Elkhorn offering a Golf Digest 4-star rated course, hiking trails and parks. The town is also home to quaint shops and restaurants.
