Tekstilindustrien er verdens eldste industri, Oleana er en av de yngste tekstilfabrikkene i Norge, og den eneste av sitt slag som både strikker og syr alt vi lager på egen fabrikk her i landet. Vi holder til på Espeland nær Bergen, midt i det gamle tekstilmiljøet i Hordaland. Vi setter vår stolthet i å bruke naturfibre som ull, både norsk ull og merinoull, silke, alpakka og kasjmir. Oleana legger også stor vekt på design og god kvalitet. Vi er overbevist om at vi i vår del av verden må produsere færre, men vakrere klær.

The textile industry is the oldest industry in the world. Oleana is one of the youngest factories in Norway and the only one of its kind that both knits and sews everything that is produced, in our own factory. We are located in Espeland, just outside Bergen, on the west coast of Norway. Oleana takes pride in using only natural fibres. We use Norwegian wool and merino wool, silk, alpaca and cashmere. We put a lot of emphasis on design, and good quality. We believe that we have to produce fewer, but more beautiful clothes in our part of the world. 18Good design is normally not the result of compromise.
