New Superintendent

The Douglas County School Board voted 4-3 to hire Erin Kane as the next superintendent. Kane, who founded American Academy in 2004, previously served as the interim superintendent for the DC School District from 2016 to 2018.

St. Patrick's Day

Lucky the Leprechaun was out celebrating the holiday with locals on Mainstreet. Many festivities took place throughout town.

Ice Trail Closed

The Parker Ice Trail has closed for the season due to significant mechanical issues and with recent and projected temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Skating will return to Discovery Park in November.

New Town Attorney

Town Council approved the contract for our new Town Attorney, Kristin Hoffmann. Kristin was previously the attorney for the City of Lone Tree and served as the Littleton City Attorney as well.
