COVID has parents and teachers stressing about what will happen in August when schools reopen. DCSD is beginning to make plans for how to reopen with an emphasis on health and safety. Governor Polis issued a state-wide face covering mandate. Parker Town Council voted to opt out of the Tri-County Health

Coffee Cabin

The Coffee Cabin hosted another DC Law Enforcement Appreciation and prayer event. The community turned out in support after the Coffee Cabin had been previously vandalized.

Community Service

2020 has brought some difficult trials for us all. But it has also inspired many to reach out and serve. Community service projects have been held and have assisted countless individuals to get through this downturn. One such young woman is Mikaela Fischer. She started two projects – Masks for Hope and Toys & Treats for Homeless Pets. Read more about her projects on our website searchparker.com.

Parker Rec Summer Camps

Camps are in full swing. The Center offers everything from baking to fencing to pickleball. Virtual and in-person camps available.

Douglas County E-recycling Event

Drive through at Echo Park Stadium to drop off your recyclable electronics on Aug8. Please be patient; long lines are expected!

Parker Quest

August 15th – Go on an adventure right through Parker's Historic District. The journey begins and ends at Discovery Park, where participants can play old-fashion games and listen to music.

H2O'Brien Re-opening ... sort of

H2O’Brien Pool had a great opening, and then it wasn't. The water feature is currently out of order. But the pool is still open!

Prayer Circle for Sammie

The Parker community came together in a wonderful show of support for the Schultz family following a serious car accident. A prayer circle was held at Children's Hospital.
