COVID Spike

New trails, including an uphill challenge, opened on Thanksgiving. The Incline Challenge is 132 steps and the Rosie Rueter Trail loop, which starts and ends at the parking lot, is about a mile long. With the increasing numbers of COVID-19, the State of Colorado moved Douglas County to the more restrictive level orange.

Then just a week later, moved us to red.

Parker Task Force

Families rally to a drive-up food donation in response to the increased need in our community. With the pandemic complications, the need is at a high level this year.

Election Results

Parker Citizens voted in a record turnout and elected a new mayor as well as three new councilmembers. Jeff Toborg will become the seventh mayor of Parker. John Diak will retain his seat on council with Todd Hendreks and Laura Hefta winning the other two vacancies.

Parker Racquet Club

PRC annouced expansion for 2021 - Three Outdoor Tennis Courts with lights, Platform and Padel Courts, Pickleball, and a Hitting Wall.

Santa Sightings

CCV Rotary of Parker has eight activities with the Clauses that started last month. See their website for dates and details.

Holiday Events

The Town started their festivities with holiday music playing through speakers, ice sculpture carvings, and characters strolling throughout downtown. Events last all month.

PACE Center

Parker Arts announced the cancellation of their holiday/winter theater lineup as well as their winter classes and camps.

Vines Closes

For more than 15 years, Vines has been part of the downtown landscape. They closed their doors permanently last month and make way for a new tavern - Black+Haus.
