I’VE DREAMED OF OWNING MY OWN BUSINESS for as long as I can remember. I’ve also

loved making jewelry for as long as I can remember. In 2004, I decided to combine these two passions — into a jewelry business. I started out making pieces for myself to wear to work and began receiving requests from co-workers. Some of them wanted jewelry to accompany business casual attire, but others requested custom-made designs for weddings and other special occasions. I found out that my jewelry was equally as popular for formal occasions as it was for everyday wear. Thus, the dual purpose of Milan Jewelry was born. Today, the overall collection is fairly diverse. Some pieces are more casual whereas others are distinctively formal feeling. The beauty of Milan jewelry is that almost all pieces can be dressed up or down, making it a good choice for anyone who wants to make their wardrobe multi-task. Due to the custom nature of Milan jewelry, every woman can create a look that is all her own. The majority of pieces are available in ten or more colors, the length of necklaces and bracelets is customizable, and most pieces can be mixed and matched. I love seeing the combinations that everyone chooses! One of my closest friends likes to go for maximum glam, with the Serena Necklace and matching Serena Earrings. I, on the other hand, prefer to wear one bold piece like the Alana Necklace with a coordinating Leilei Bracelet. It’s all based on personal taste, and no choice is wrong. Customers can rest assured that Milan Jewelry Design uses only high quality materials. I personally hand pick and inspect every jewelry component, from every inch of sterling silver chain to every Swarovski crystal. My ultimate goal is to provide excellent quality at an affordable price. At the first printing of this catalog, Milan jewelry is sold through the Milan jewelry main website, on SHOP.com, and through a growing team of independent sales representatives in Texas and Virginia. The jewelry can also be found in person at Desired Weddings & Special Events in Connecticut as well as online through WeddingPartyShoes.com. It is my hope that Milan jewelry will expand its offering to bridal boutiques throughout the Eastern U.S. as well as through a thriving network of independent sales representatives.
