U.S. Air Force tankers enhance global reach to European partners, allies
The KC-135 provides the core aerial refueling capability for the U.S. Air Force and enhances its capability to accomplish the primary mission of global reach.

ROYAL AIR FORCE MILDENHALL -- U.S. Air Force KC-135 Stratotanker aircraft assigned to the 100th Air Refueling Wing at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, and U.S. Air Force KC-10 Extender aircraft assigned to the 305th Air Mobility Wing, Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., provide increased global mobility for U.S. Armed Forces. The 100th ARW is the only permanent U.S. air refueling wing in the European theater that provides critical air refueling support which allows the Expeditionary Air Force to deploy around the globe at a moment's notice.

Sister bases to merge British American Committees
Royal Air Force Mildenhall conducted the final solo British-American Committee meeting before merging the committee with their Liberty Wing counterparts at Middleton Hall, RAF Mildenhall, March 18. The wings’ British-American Committees are combining to strengthen cooperation on areas of shared significance.
West Suffolk College students tour aircraft, fabrication flight at RAF Mildenhall
The 100th Maintenance Group hosted engineering students from West Suffolk College at Royal Air Force Mildenhall, March 9. The students visited the 100th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron and 100th Maintenance Squadron to learn about the practical application of engineering skills in a military aviation environment.
100th LRS IPE keeps Team Mildenhall mission-ready
Airmen in the 100th Logistics Readiness Squadron Individual Protective Equipment shop issue gas masks every Tuesday to base newcomers and are responsible for issuing and receiving all training and real-world chemical gear issued to military members. They support geographically separated units including RAF Croughton, and Stavanger, Norway, as well as issue all gear for chemical warfare assets to members tasked for deployments and TDYs, ensuring they are issued the correct equipment.
