Mildred Edmonds Eldridge married Randy DeLaine Eldridge, September 12, 1980. Taking on the name of Eldridge our story begins with this union. Symbolism of the Eldridge shield: The shield represents defender. Its color yellow or gold depicts elevation of the mind and wise ruler. The color green in a band or circle represents hope and joy. The black cross band depicts constancy and red military fortitude and magnanimity. The hand, faith, sincerity and justice. The next few pages include the genealogy of each family.

THERE IS A TIME TO REMEMBER” THE PAST,PRESENT AND GLIMSE THE FUTURE By: MILDRED EDMONDS ELDRIDGE
THERE IS A TIME TO REMEMBER THE PAST ALL THE SUFFERING AND THE PAIN AS WE TELL STORIES OF OUR HOMELAND THE MEMORIES WILL REMAIN.
THERE IS A TIME TO REMEMBER THE PRESENT AS WE LIVE OUR LIVES ON FOREIGN SOIL, WITH THE PAST AS OUR TEACHER LEAVE A LEGACY, LESS THE CHILDREN SPOIL.
THERE IS A TIME TO LOOK TOWARD THE FUTURE TAKING THE PRESENT, AS LESSONS FOR HOPE. JUST AS SANKOFA BENCHMARKS TIME REMBERING BECOMES, THE LOVE THAT BINDS.
2006 Mildred Edmonds Eldridge
