Raptors send five players to G-League

The Toronto Raptors sent five players to their G-League affiliate on Wednesday (1).

Canadian guard Dalano Banton, centre Christian Koloko and swingman Joe Wieskamp were all put on assignment to Raptors 905 in Mississauga, Ont. Guard Jeff Dowtin Jr. and forward Ron Harper Jr. were both sent to the 905 on their two-way contracts.

Toronto began a five-game road trip with a stop in Washington on Thursday (2).

The 905 have a five-game homestand at the same time, allowing the five players sent to the team to stay in the Greater Toronto Area.

Otto Porter Jr. remains on the Raptors’ injured list after he had surgery on the second toe of his left foot.

Germany and Canada join FIM MiniGP World Series in 2023

The FIM MiniGP World Series expands again in 2023 and will have two new competitions in which they will take part and which are now confirmed with the inclusion of Canada and Germany.

In this way, the FIM MiniGP Canada Series and the FIM MiniGP Germany Series are now officially part of the World Series which has had the Final scheduled for the same time as the MotoGP race in Va- lencia.

These two national competitions, aimed at helping young riders to ascend to other championships, take place between may/ june and the month of september, and only in the german case does the championship visit a neighboring country - in this case, the Czech Republic which hosts the first round.
