To understand Projec t Life is to understand how it came to b e. When it comes to my work, I am first and foremost a scrapbooker. Becoming a business woman and an entrepreneur all came over many years in this industry. But more important than any of that,

into displayed stories. I spent about 15 years enjoying scrapbooking as a creative outlet. Just like so many others, I loved playing with paper and embellishments. I enjoyed folding, ripping, distressing, choosing just the right colors, and laying out the pictures and embellishments "just so."

And then I reached that point. I experienced the same thing so many scrapbookers go through: I just couldn't keep up anymore. This wasn't about outside pressure or what other people thought

I should do. This was about me, sitting on thousands of pictures, and simply not having the time to create scrapbook pages. I felt like I was phasing out of scrapbooking — but the very idea of not doing something with my pictures just didn't sit right with me. I looked for a solution without much success. That's when I decided to create the solution — and Project Life was born in 2009.

The reason Project Life has proven to be so popular is because it's so incredibly simple. The system of slipping photos and pre-designed journaling cards into pockets requires no scissors, no adhesive, no tools, no skills. This back-to-basics approach to scrapbooking appeals to the person who's never made a scrapbook in their life as well as those with experience. It allows you to feel the freedom that comes from letting go of the "guilt" that so many associate with the memory keeping process. It's called Project LIFE because it's about YOUR LIFE. Whatever your life is. Whatever your stage of life. Whatever your family circumstances. Whatever your lifestyle. Project Life is designed to help anyone + everyone get their pictures into a book. My goal is to help others Cultivate a Good Life and Record It. Project Life brings it all together.
