Modi a Confident Man and One with a Vision

W

elcome readers! Based on Kiran Aggarwal Committee recommendations, the Central Government on thinking to reduce training duration for Indian Administrative Service officers from two to one-and-a-half years ,despite reservations of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration chief. This move aims to restrict IAS professional course (phase 1 and 2) by 7 weeks, academic instruction by 4 weeks and district training by a whole 21 weeks. It may be good decision The Congress has always been accusing its political opponent, the BJP, of having an acute hunger for power (lRrk ). But the revelations of erstwhile Chief Minister of Maharashtra Prithviraj Chavan in a confessional interview clearly indicate that the lust for power is more evident in the Congress than in any other political party. After all how these top leaders of Congress revealing all this? Recently the Supreme Court has asked the Centre to place before it the details of people who are in unauthorised occupation of VIP bungalows in Lutyens' Zone in New Delhi that accommodates India's power elite. The government told the court that former ministers, including Pawan Kumar Bansal, A. Raja, Dayanidhi Maran, S.M. Krishna, Mukul Wasnik, C.P. Joshi and Mukul Roy have vacated their premises. How they are still occupying these Bungalows? Will these political parties take any action? Now there is no real challenge from the Opposition to Modi Government. The Congress is batting like a looser in Cricket , not sure of a payback at the other end. The party is bereft of ideas and there is apparently no agenda. The air is thick with optimism. It is as if the nation has awakened from a deep slumber. There is no doubt that India need a strong leader as it is at a crossroads of a major change. Even Former Chief Minister of Delhi, Dikshit was asked whether Modi had impressed her and she replied saying that he is a confident man and one with a vision. Dikshit said that people had voted for change in the last elections as there was a sense of fatigue. Its a good news that PSUs NALCO, BEL, BDL, REIL have declared good dividend. National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), the Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Mines has declared a total dividend amount of Rs. 386.59 crore Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has paid a total dividend of Rs. 103.82 crore. Bharat Dynamics Limited, paid a dividend of Rs. 11.10 Crore. While REIL paid a dividend of Rs. 1.03 Crore.
