Bound to Glasgow Green and the east side of the city centre, with excellent transport links, Bridgeton area has a high potential Unfortunately this area has one of the highest rates of unemployment and benefit claims in Glasgow

 

Top Reception desk construction vertical ribs made of layers of cut and screwed plywood and horizontal profiles made of spruce steam bent clad with layers of MDF

Left Top view of the reception desk 1 cloak room / additional storage space 2 shelves - displaying 150 pairs of uniformed quad roller shoes of different sizes in 250x270x300mm cubicles, build using 35mm thick timber joists, painted red, screwed, reinforced in the back with plywood sheets, seating on the base made of 50x100mm softwood 3 reception desk - worktop made of 50mm veneered chipboard, screwed to the construction of the desk, edges protected with a 60mm ribbon made of aluminium, bent and painted with metallic car paint, screwed to the worktop 4 lowered worktop - for servicing children and disabled clients

The Milkshaker The majority of the Roller Bar clientele are teenagers, children and their parents plus females interested in roller skating derby.

Top Bar details

The bar is alcohol-free, serves cakes, ice-cream, coffees and its speciality - milkshakes and smoothies. Hot food menu contains pancakes, omlets, salads, pizzas, toasties, burgers served in American style. The Golden-Era stylistic is continued in shapes of the bar and its chrome elements (shelves, coffee machine, blenders), SMEG fridges.

Night Spot

The venue can also host roller discos. Stage lighting system is installed under the ceiling in the far end of the hall

Fluorescent light tubes hidden in the floor mark the track and accentuate the route to the bar following edges of the ramp. During evening events lighting in the bar is darkened leaving only pendant lamps casting direct light onto the tables
