Author of the series Clipped Wings

INTERVIEW

You can appear and speak to us a little about your writer's route? I write, or at least try to write every day, unless I’m in the editing stage. I have an office dedicated to writing, and I always listen to music because it helps keep me focused. Most of my story ideas have come from dreams. It usually starts with a character and a scene; once the scene is written down I’ll develop the character and subsequently build a story around them. How did you react when your first novel was published? It was exciting! I had been working towards this goal for some time, so it was amazing when it finally happened. It’s surreal, and a dream come true. I have always loved writing and being able to share my stories is quite the experience. Having Clipped Wings (Bad Boy) and Inked Armor (Dark Love) translated into French, as well as other languages has been incredibly humbling. In France, we know you thanks to your series "Clipped Wings" which

is a real crush for our blog. How you had the inspiration for this story? I wanted to write a story based on the body modification subculture, and I hoped to challenge some of the stereotypes associated with it. Hayden Stryker seemed like a great character to do that with. Beyond that, there were events in the media which stayed with me, and became the impetus for Tenley and Hayden’s backgrounds. There was a wedding in which the groom and his groomsmen were traveling to the church in a limo. The vehicle was hit by a tractor trailer which jackknifed and everyone was killed, leaving a devastated bride at the altar. That level of trauma would leave deep scars, and I felt and the memorialization of tragedy through tattooing was an excellent vehicle to explore the healing process. I also wanted to explore mental health issues and how survivors could overcome guilt to allow them to move on with their lives.

We can say that your characters had no easy life, why make it to them so difficult? People who have been through highly traumatic events see the world differently. In order for Tenley and Hayden to heal, they would need to find someone who could honestly relate to the magnitude of their loss. The only way for someone as damaged as Tenley or Hayden to really to move on, would be to find someone who had been through a similarly tragic experience. Those challenges are what shaped those characters into who they are. Human beings are incredibly resilient, and I wanted very much to explore the ability to overcome immense trauma with these two characters. Tattoos are almost full characters, especially that of Tenley, it is a deliberate fact? A way of expressing? Most definitely. Tenley’s tattoo is a memorial for her loss. Hayden does the same with his tattoos, so he understands in a way others might not, why her back piece is so significant even without knowing the story behind it. Tattoos are story through art, and Tenley’s tattoo tells the story of her loss. It’s a representation of who she was, and what she had, versus who she has become in the aftermath of tragedy. In France, only two volumes were published, is planned the third volume? If yes, you can reveal us an exclusivity? I’ve drafted a third novel, although this one focuses on Chris and Sarah. Hayden and Tenley are in there, as well as the rest of the Inked Armor crew.

That’s not to say I’m done with Hayden and Tenley—there are definitely pieces of their story I’ve contemplated revisiting. According to you, why do the readers adore Bad Boys? I can’t speak for everyone else, but I think there’s allure in a man who projects that kind of persona, but underneath he’s really just a big marshmallow. Hayden’s intensity can make him come across as being a bit of an asshole, and sometimes he is, but it’s unintentional. He genuinely cares about Tenley, and he’s so damaged from his experiences, he doesn’t know how to manage his feelings for her. I think we like the idea of being able to tame the wildness, or being the reason that a man like Hayden would decide he wanted to be tamed. What pleases you to write it? I have an affinity for dark characters. While I enjoy writing humor as well, there’s something about damaged people, and giving them a way to overcome their pasts that’s gratifying for me as a writer. For as “bad” as Hayden may be, he’s struggling to find his way in a world where he lost the fundamentally important people in his life. Is it easy to write stories where the feelings are also hypersensitive? Some days it can be a challenge to get the words on the page, especially when I’m putting my characters through such hell. But I know the final outcome, so as difficult as it may be, I enjoy the process.

Have you musics of preference when you write? If yes, you can reveal them to us? I listen to a lot of alternative rock. It really depends on the scene I’m writing —sometimes I’ll sit down and listen to something easy and soft, sometimes it’s hard and aggressive. I always listen to music when I write, though. For me, it’s a necessity. Some of my favorite bands are The Neighbourhood, The Cure, Rage Against the Machine, Hozier, Ben Howard, Ninth Floor Manniquins, The Silversun Pickups, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Chevelle, Seether, Lorde, Lana Del Ray. I could go on, they all serve to help my creative process.

France and it’s definitely on my list of places I’d love to visit. What would you like to tell them? I’m so pleased my French readers love Hayden as much as I love writing him. As a Canadian, having the Clipped Wings series translated into French has been particularly gratifying. Last question, what book do you read at the moment? I’m reading three; Bad Romeo by Leisa Rayven, Saving Poughkeepsie by Debra Anastasia and The Dark Duet by CJ Roberts.

What are your projects of writings at the moment? I have several things on the go right now. I’m self-publishing a standalone novel called The Librarian Principle which releases in December. So far it’s only being released in English, but I hope that might change as I’d love to be able to share it with my other readers. After that I have plans to release a contemporary romance/erotic novel that’s more humor than angst. I’ve drafted a third novel in the Clipped Wings series and I’d love to see where that goes. I’ve currently started another project for National November Novel Writing Month and I have an anthology piece I’ll be starting soon, so there are lots of things on my plate, which makes me very happy. Did you plan to come to meet your French readers? I would love a reason to come meet my French readers! That would be absolutely amazing. I hope one day I’ll be able to do that. I’ve never been to

Chris was passed out on the couch, one hand gripping the remote, the other bent behind his head. He was shirtless, providing an uninterrupted view of his defined arms. His right one was covered in a tribal design, but the left depicted an intricate cityscape rendered in dark hues with a hint of green in the clock tower that dominated the focal point. A few smaller tattoos scattered his chest, and he had a huge back piece, courtesy of his best friend and business partner, Hayden. Chris’ art complimented the hard cut lines of his thick frame, turning him into one hot, scary bastard.

they were cheap knock-offs of name brands. Since sleepovers were so few and far between, I didn’t mind smelling like him the following day.

The TV was still on, casting shadows over his face and body. The biography channel boasted a spotlight on Johnny Cash; his rendition of a Nine Inch Nails cover played out on the screen, the melancholy tune an echo of my night. I left Chris where he lay, intent on getting clean before I woke him and took him to bed.

I knelt beside him and pried the remote from his fingers. The ambient light flickered over his face, highlighting the sharp edges and severe lines. I caressed the heavy set of his eyebrows and stroked along his cheek. Continuing down, I traced the contour of his top lip, following the bow and the dip. Then I replaced my fingers with my lips.

I turned up the heat as high as I could stand, letting the water wash away the ache in my chest. I didn’t keep any toiletries at Chris’ place. Part of it was purposeful; I liked his body wash and his shampoo, even if

“Chris, baby, wake up.” I got nothing, which was normal. He was almost impossible to wake. Not that I minded the time to observe him at peace.

As usual, Chris had left me two towels; one for my hair and one for my body. One of his shirts hung from a hook on the door. I pulled it over my head, then ran a brush through my hair. Filling a Dixie cup with mouthwash, I left the light on and padded back to the living room. The Johnny Cash biography was over and an infomercial flickered on the screen, advertising wipes that cleaned everything with no chemicals.

É IV US CL EX É IV US CL EX É IV US CL EX USIVÉ - EXCLUSIVÉ I ran my hand down his chest, over the tribal art covering his left pec and the solid wall of muscle. When I reached the waist of his oversized jogging pants, he groaned. I kissed his cheek and then his chin. “Let’s go to bed.”

“Making up for earlier.” I dragged them over his hips. He was already halfway hard. I drew a line from base to tip, circling the head. He shook his head. “You don’t need to do that. I took care of my business as soon as I got home from work.”

My hand dipped lower still, fingertips sliding under the elastic. Making my way from his neck to his collar bone, I continued my descent, stopping at his nipple to suck the tight skin into my mouth.

I wrapped my fingers around his erection. “That was hours ago.” “Come here.” He motioned me up.

His palm came down on the back of my head, stroking my hair. “Shit. Sarah?”

“In a few minutes.” “Can’t I have those sweet lips up here first? Please?”

“Hi.”

He was so hard to resist when he said things like that to me. Which was all the time. I nabbed the Dixie cup of mouthwash from the coffee table and passed it to him.

“What’s doin’, sugar?” “I’m waking you up.” “Mm. Yeah, you sure are.” He rubbed his eyes with the heel of his hand. “What time is it?”

“That’s my perfect girl. Always taking care of me.” He knocked it back.

“Late.” I kissed along his ribs. He was still mostly out of it, the words garbled and rough as sleep lifted and his body responded to my touch. “Baby, baby . . . How late is late?”

While he was distracted with swishing I leaned in and kissed the head of his cock. He choked, sputtered and sat up, spitting back into the cup. He meant to set it on the coffee table, but missed, spilling the contents on the floor. He ignored the mess and tapped his mouth. “Right here. That’s the best place for those lips of yours.”

“It doesn’t matter.” I nipped at the skin above his navel. “What time is your class in the morning?” His fingers threaded through my hair, palm coming to rest at the nape of my neck.

Covering my hand with his, he tugged gently, pulling me back up. I braced myself on his chest and brushed my lips over his. “You know you’re passing up the opportunity for a blow job again, right?”

“Nine.” I hooked my fingers into the waist and pulled down. Chris lifted his head, brows drawn low, giving a sinister slant to his expression. “What are you doing?”

11

“I can wallow in my stupidity later.” He cupped my cheek in his

EXCLUSIVÉ - EXCLUSIVÉ - EXCLUSIVÉ - EXCLUSIVÉ - EXCLU palm. “I just want this.” His lips parted, waiting for me to kiss him. I gave in, as I always did. It was slow and soft; the way Chris liked it best. He never rushed through anything; not a meal, not the art he put on other people’s skin, and definitely not sex. When I climbed on top of him, Chris wrapped me in a firm embrace, sitting up as he did so. “Let’s go to bed.” “Best idea, ever.” I shifted my legs to circle his waist, and hooked my feet as he stood. His boxers slid down his legs and hit the floor. Chris gripped my thighs just below my ass, adjusting his hold. He nearly stumbled as he took a step forward. The head of his erection brushed up against me and he groaned. “You’re not wearing panties.” “Why would I when I wasn’t planning on staying dressed?” “Totally makes sense.” He walked to the bedroom with me wrapped around him. Carrying me around to his side, he sat down, inadvertently lining everything up. He made a pained sound as he unhooked my legs and flopped back, bringing me with him. He tried to raise me up higher, so his erection was no longer nestled between my legs, but I clamped my knees against his hips. “I want to be with you,” I whispered, running the tip of my nose down his.

One arm stayed around me, holding me tight as he reached for the nightstand and pulled open the drawer. He hesitated when he saw the time on the clock. “I need you more than I need sleep.” I sat up, drawing his shirt over my head. Chris had a hard time saying anything, let alone no, when I was naked. Passing me the foil wrapper he said, “Go ahead and take what you need, then.” Chris kept his hands on my hips as I rolled the condom on. I rose up on my knees, positioning myself over him. His eyes stayed on me as I sank down, taking him inside. When my ass rested on his thighs, Chris slid his hands up my back and pulled my mouth down to his. We stayed like that, him inside me, unmoving but for the slide of his tongue against mine until I was breathless and aching. I traced every inch of his gorgeous face, following with my lips. When the stillness became too much to bear, Chris rolled us over. Holding himself above me, he kept it soft and easy. I came apart, scattering like dandelion seeds on a summer breeze. Afterward he tucked me into his side, holding on tight. “I miss you next to me,” Chris mumbled sleepily. “I’m here now.” “Mm. You are.” Chris was my safe place. It scared me that I was starting to need him more and more, and that I liked it that way.

Author of the series Thoughtless

INTERVIEW

Can you tell us how the adventure "Thoughtless" began? And do you wait for such a success for this trilogy? The idea for the book came from a daydream I had, of a girl being attracted to a man while she was still in a relationship with another man. I wrote out one scene, then I had to know what happened next, so I kept going with it. I have been completely blown away by the success of Thoughtless. I never expected the book to be read by so many. I’m always thrilled to hear that people liked it Why to have chosen to write a story in the musical environment? I thought up Kellan's character while listening to music. I always pictured him as the person singing the song, so he naturally became a singer in the story. Certain readers found the character of irritating, too undecided Kiera, can you understand it? Yes, I hear that a lot. She's in a very difficult situation and she's torn about which way to go.

You played roller coasters with our feelings, is it difficult to write stories in the feelings so aggravated? The emotional scenes are my favorite, and I loved the back and forth in this story. Kellan chains the conquests and for the first time in his life he is in love. How did you manage this new facet of his personality? Kellan's character evolved as the story grew, but once I understood his past, it was easy to write the ups and downs he goes through. Everything he did made sense to me, because I knew where he was coming from. What scene of the series was the most difficult to write according to you? Reckless was probably the most difficult to write, since so much was already established. I don't know if there was a scene in particular that was difficult, but the overall concept was challenging.

Is D-bagues inspired by an already existing group? Not their looks, no, but their sound is a lot like some Linkin' Park songs--New Divide, Shadow of the Day, and Leave Out All the Rest, for example The book from the point of view of Kellan "Thoughtful" will appear in the original version in 2015, can you reveal us an exclusivity on this volume? You will know everything Kellan was thinking during Thoughtless, and then some! There will numerous teasers leading up to the release, so follow me on Facebook or Twitter so you don't miss them! Is it true that there will be a volume dedicated to Griffin? We can say that it is the one who the most grew in the group, that go have you to learn again on him? Yes, Griffin is getting his own book! He grew a lot during the Thoughtless series, but he grows even more in his story. He makes me smile.. Is it difficult for you to say goodbye to your characters at the end of a story? The end of the story is never really the end, since there are so many opportunities to expand the world. I always feel like I can come back to them if I miss them too much.

According to you, why are the girls unable to resist Bad Boy? I think a lot of it has to do with the fact that they feel forbidden. You know it's going to end badly and you shouldn't even go there in the first place, which makes it even more desirable Can you speak to us your next projects of writings? Do you know if some are going to be published in France? After Kellan's story and Griffin's story, I will begin working on a brand new project. And yes, all three books will be published in France! Did you plan to meet your French readers? I don't have any immediate plans to visit France, but I would love to meet my French readers one day! What would you like to tell to your French readers? Thank you all for being so passionate and supportive of these books! It means so much to me! Last question, what book do you read at the moment? Currently, I am reading The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead. I adore Adrian.

Thoughtless Thoughtless (#1) For almost two years now, Kiera's boyfriend, Denny, has been everything she's ever wanted: loving, tender and endlessly devoted to her. When they head off to a new city to start their lives together, Denny at his dream job and Kiera at a top-notch university, everything seems perfect. Then an unforeseen obligation forces the happy couple apart. Feeling lonely, confused, and in need of comfort, Kiera turns to an unexpected source—a local rock star named Kellan Kyle. At first, he's purely a friend that she can lean on, but as her loneliness grows, so does their relationship. And then one night everything changes...and none of them will ever be the same.

Effortless (#2) After being caught in the middle of a love triangle that led to a devastating betrayal, Kiera pledged to learn from the mistakes she’d made. She was determined to never again inflict that kind of pain on anyone, especially the soulful, talented man who held her heart. But life offers new challenges for every relationship, and when Kiera’s love is put to the ultimate test, will it survive? Love is easy…trust is hard.

Reckless (#3) When the band hits it big, Kiera and Kellan must ask themselves: Can their love for each other survive the constant pressures of superstardom? The friendships they've formed, the new family they've found, and the history they've forged will all play a part in helping them navigate the turbulent waters of the band's exploding popularity. A greedy executive hell-bent on success, a declining pop star looking for an edge, and a media circus that twists lies into truths are just some of the obstacles the lovers will have to overcome if they are going to remain together. Fame comes with a price-but will it cost Kiera and Kellan everything?

KATY EVANS Interview Author of the series REAL

Hello, you can appear and speak to us a little about your writer's route? Thank you so much for having me over. I started like most everyone begins, as a reader first. Books and music are my absolute loves. By the time I was twelve, I really wanted to write. I began with a historical romance novel I never finished, but never stopped writing except for when I had my children and later, had a brief hospital visit. Nothing truly deterred me, though. The need to explore the characters and stories in my head seems always greater than the fears that I won't be able to do it properly. How did you react when your first novel was published? When REAL debuted and hit Amazon's top 10 within 2 days of publishing, I was not only humbled that so many readers were enjoying my characters like I do, but I also felt truly exposed and vulnerable realizing my beloved characters were actually being READ! In France, we know you thanks to the first volume of your series "Real" which is a very beautiful discovery for our blog. Why to have chosen to stage a hero so skinned?

Thank you, knowing you read and enjoyed REAL means very much. I can't truly take credit for 'choosing' Remington Tate. I've always felt like HE chose ME! I never got the sense of 'creating' him...he seemed to pop into my head one day, fully formed, ready for me to tell his story. In this first sector, we discover the underground boxing, do you know this environment? The world of the Real series Underground lives entirely in my head, although I've been to similar places and have much experience with boxing, the setting came to me along with Remington, somehow just "there" - a paradise for my muse and characters. Remington suffers from a little known disease, is he going to find the balance necessary for his wellbeing in the following volumes? As with any disease, what he fights with will most probably be a battle he wages his whole life. There is no quick fix and no 100% cure. But there are absolutely many ways in which he can treat and choose to handle it. That is the beauty of science and discovery and, also, personal choice. We have many routes available to treat ourselves and our

our conditions and I truly believe that one must give it their 100% to the method they feel works best for them. If Remington was a piece of music which it would be? I am not sure but he would love to be his iPod! He is a huge music lover, I love this about him.

are passionate about. Next, get a couple of good, solid opinions on how you can improve your book. Once your book is as best as can be, reach out to bloggers (like you!) who love books and enjoy connecting readers and authors. Bloggers are absolutely key in making your book visible and letting readers know what it's about.

In January, 2015, French are going to discover the continuation of the adventures of Remington and Brooke in "Mine", can you reveal us a small exclusivity? I love love loved writing MINE. In MINE we have a deeper exploration into both Brooke and Remington's flaws and a wonderful sense of them growing closer together through a set of challenges inevitably challenges are what draws us closer to people in real life too. I loved exploring Brooke's insecurities and Remington's mental beasts. MINE was a beautiful experience of a book and I hope you enjoy.

According to you, why are the readers tears in Bad Boys? Readers love bad boys. I think bad boys are so irresistible because they represent the wild instincts of a healthy, testosterone-laden man and conquering a bad boy's heart is always priceless! I happen to think bad boys love very hard.

How much opus do you plan to write in this series? I don't have a definitive end planned. As long as the characters keep talking to me, I would love to keep writing their stories.

Do you need to embellish with images your characters so that they take life? If yes you can show us the one who represents Remington for you? I have never used pictures when I write. I seem to draw my visuals from my head instead. However many readers share their "Remy" pictures on my Facebook and website and I love seeing how they visualize my characters.

According to you, what are the good ingredients to make a success of a series? A finished book is key. So many people want to publish a book but they have yet to write it. You can't put the 'cart before the horse' - as the saying goes. So first, focus on writing a book you love, that speaks about something you

What do you like in the writing? Everything. Mostly, discovering the story through the characters and watching them fall in love. I have yet to find a feeling that compares to that intensely thrilling experience of falling in love‌..

Can you speak to us your next projects of writings? I'm working on two separate projects. One, I'm hoping will be another REAL

series book. Another is a new series I'm very excited about. Both should be out in the USA in 2015 and hopefully in France a little later. I'm truly thrilled knowing my amazing French publisher is also publishing ROGUE, the story of Brooke's best friend, and RIPPED, the story of their third female friend, and I can't wait to share these passionate romances with you!

Last question, what book do you read at the moment? I am currently re-reading Wuthering Heights by Emily BrontĂŤ. It is my favorite read of all time and I highly recommend it.

Did you plan to come to meet your French readers? I would love to and I'm definitely looking into visiting France in 2015! What would you like to tell to your French readers? Thank you so much for reading and for your book love and wonderful tweets, emails, and messages. Sometimes I am not able to respond to them all but I treasure each and every one.

One night was all it took, and I forgot everything and anything except the sexy fighter in the ring who sets my mind ablaze and my body on fire with wanting… Remington Tate is the strongest, most confusing man I’ve ever met in my life. He’s the star of the dangerous underground fighting circuit, and I’m drawn to him as I’ve never been drawn to anything in my life. I forget who I am, what I want, with just one look from him. When he’s near, I need to remind myself that I am strong–but he is stronger. And now it’s my job to keep his body working like a perfect machine, his taut muscles primed and ready to break the bones of his next opponents . . . But the one he’s most threatening to, now, is me. Author of the series Closer to you

INTERVIEW

Hello, you can appear and speak to us a little about your writer's route? ? Hi thank you for having me on! Yes, I actually am a pretty slow writer. I usually will get an idea for a story and think on it for a while, and then try to make a general outline of how I want the story to go. Then I will sit and begin to write. I usually write for most of the day, and it typically takes me four to six months to write a book. In France, we know you thanks to the first volume of your series "Closer to youl" which is a magnificent discovery for our blog. How came to you the inspiration for this story? Oh I love Jared too! Thank you so much for compliment! Jared actually came to me first as the lead for another book, but as I began writing that, I kept having all these thoughts about the storyline of Come to Me Quietly/Closer to You. That story built in my head and I decided I needed to write him for that story instead.. Can you tell us what waits for Jared and for Aly in the volume "Come to

me Softly "? And do you know when it will appear in France? I’m not sure when it will appear in France, but I can tell you that I think you’ll be very happy with it. It’s a story of strength and growth and the power of love and family. I absolutely loved writing it, because I really wanted to see Jared grow to his full potential as a man and a father.. Will Jared have finally the redemption which he deserves? Yes, he definitely has his redemption he deserves. Did you plan to dedicate only the first two volumes to their couple? Originally I only planned on writing one book for Jared and Aly, but I realized that their story was not completely told with only one book, so I went on to write Come to Me Softly. The third opus is dedicated to Christopher, can you reveal us its story? Or at least to give us a foretaste? I actually just finished writing Christopher’s story, and I’m really proud of the way it turned out.

This story is about Christopher’s first love and the impact she and her younger brother made on his life and how losing her hardened him. Of course, he meets back up with her in the current years and we get to experience the very explosive feelings they have toward one another. How do you react in front of the craze of the readers for your series? I am always so thankful when I hear from the readers of any of my books. It’s a surreal feeling knowing something I’ve written has had a positive impact on someone, and I’m so thankful for it. According to you, is it more interesting to write on a tortured hero or a kind boy? I really enjoy writing the tortured hero. There is always so much more depth to these types of characters. Is it easy to tell stories where the feelings of the heroes are also aggravated? No, it’s very difficult for me. I try to pour all my emotions into my books, so each intensified emotion always is very difficult to get right. Why are the readers addicts in Bad Boys, according to you? Because they are just so sexy…never conforming to the normal rules of society. It also helps that we write them so beautiful. It’s also a taste of danger in a fantasy world, which we may not necessarily like in the real world. What pleases you in the writing? My favorite part of writing is when the story is complete. I love having brought characters worlds to life for my readers. It’s a very satisfying feeling.

How do you find the inspiration? By seeing a landscape, listening to a song during a dream? Most of my inspiration comes to me right on the brink of sleep, whether it’s right before I fall asleep or as I’m waking up in the morning. That is always when I see my characters clearest. Can you speak to us your next projects of writings? I am very very excited because I just began a brand new series. It’s going to be heavy and intense with another tortured hero, but he’s also a strong protector which I absolutely love about him. We are announcing details on this series on November 18, so be sure to follow my website for all the details www.aljacksonauthor.com Did you plan to come to meet your French readers? I would absolutely love to come to France one day to meet my French readers! There’s nothing planned right now, but I hope to in the future. What would you like to tell to your French readers? I would like to tell them thank you so very much for taking the time to read my books. It’s truly an honor when someone across the world picks up one of my stories, and hearing from you is absolutely wonderful. Last question, which book be read at the moment? I just finished Nocte by Courtney Cole and it was amazing! Truly a gripping, dark, twisted tale that I never imagined the ending. It is a romance, although there is a very strong mystery/thriller/ suspense feel to it, which I loved.

u o y o t r e Clos Come to Me Quietly (#1)

Aleena Moore is content with her life. She has goals and dreams and an easy smile. She also has a secret she holds locked inside. Jared Holt believes he doesn’t deserve to love or be loved. He destroys everything he touches. Haunted by the mistake that shattered his life, he’s fled from the memory of that pain. Jared doesn’t know why he’s compelled to return, but finds himself drawn back to the place where it all began. The exact place where it ended. When he runs into his childhood best friend, Aleena’s older brother Christopher, he agrees to share Christopher and Aleena’s apartment while he looks for a place of his own. Aleena is no longer the little girl Jared remembers from his past and evokes feelings in him he never wanted to feel again. Terrified of destroying her, he fights to keep her away. But her touch is something he can’t resist—the touch that sealed his fate. Their pasts are intertwined and their futures uncertain. The only truths they know are the secrets they whisper in the night.

Come to Me Softly (#2) A second chance at life… A second chance at love… Jared Holt never thought he deserved either—until he found both in the arms of Aly Moore. Aly has loved Jared for as long as she can remember, and she’s more than ready for the future they’re making together. But Jared can’t help remembering his own family. And he’ll never forgive himself for what happened to them. How can he allow himself the very happiness he once destroyed? To live a life worthy of Aly, Jared knows he has to stop running and finally put his past to rest. But when he decides to face his demons head on, he encounters more than he bargained for: a dangerous mix of jealousy, lies, and dishonest intentions. When those intentions threaten Aly, Jared loses all control, giving into the rage that earned him his bad boy reputation years before. And he’ll fight to protect her no matter what it costs… even if he destroys himself in the process.

THANKS Just like our last number, we wanted to reproduce the same concept by highlighting authors who call on to Bad Boys in their work. We thus contacted S C. Stephen, Katy Evans, A.L. Jackson and Helena Hunting hoping that they would be ready to grant us an interview and have their felt on the attraction of these outstanding heroes on the fair sex. Very spontaneously, they answered present, by saying himself honored to participate in this last number.… how to say and to be honest in fact it is us who are enchanted and honored to have been able to share these moments favored with his(her) great(tall) ladies of the literature. S.C. Stephen, Katy Evans, A.L. Jackson and Helena Hunting are adorable, simple authors and enthuse, who made available to help us to produce this spot. We realize the chance which we had and we are even a little stunned with it. Thanks to these talented women and their charismatic heroes who please us so much, we were able to put in the honor all our crushes 2014. We want to thank them warmly and sincerely. We wish to express them

all our gratitude for their confidence, their availability, and their kindness. Thank you for all these shared messages and these privileged moments. We also wish to thank our two translators Stéphanie and Callixta who helped well us in the realization of this last number of the year. We hope that you appreciated this Spotlight as much as we took pleasure to realize it. Impossible to finish this small word without wishing you of very good Christmas and new Year holidays and very beautiful readings.
