ABOUT ME I recently graduated Master of Architecture at Singapore University of Technology and Design. (August 2016) I am especially interested in architecture visualization, as well as interior design and photographing. I was lucky enough to be able to travel to different Asian countries such as Japan and China, which greatly improve my knowledge of architecture in general.

Various net and roof configurations
A. Fully Sheltered Configuration 1: Basic open space
B. Fully Sheltered Configuration 2: Tautness of net creates different spaces for different forms of activity.
C. Skylight Configuratio Semi-open roof; green
The green roof functions as a natural shading device; the amount of shade is determined by nature and the way the green proliferates across the glass roof. Various qualities of spaces are created due to the tautness of the net, as well as roof openings which allow green to enter into. The net serves as a controllable space separator that people can easily change, while the green adds an element of unpredictability into the spaces humans create.
on 1: creates new boundaries.

E. Skylight ConďŹ guration 3: Semi-opened roof, multi-layered nets to create complex forms of interaction among the people.

Senior Year (2015) Undergraduate
Singapore University of Techonology and Design Bachelor of Science Architecture and Sustainable Design
The design aims to recreate the experience of being a tourist exploring alleys and different spatial quality, but on a vertical scale and daily basis. The ever changing building, with simple mechanism that allows the residents to modify the unit based on their daily need, will create different settings everyday.
One can now be a tourist in his very own home.
portfolio | millicenttrieu
Considering that the site located at the waterfront of Punggol, the design aims to make full use of this advantage to create great view point towards the bay area and also reinforce the development that focus more towards this greenery and water area. The concept took a different approach, with cloud-like structure and great porousity, as compared to nearby buildings.
mixed use | city of exploration
common neighbourhood
The concept introduced the idea of shared living space, using the extension of each units formed from one side of the unit walls.
This versatile mechanism allows the shared space to have different sizes and shapes, depends on how many and which units are sharing space together.

The project aims to create a mixed-use complex with residentail units and commercial units. The design featured a hidden garden shielded by the 3 blocks, aiming to create a retreat garden shared between the residentails and the block behind. This offers a fresh approach and a relaxing corner, away from the busy road outside. The buildings are smoothen and terraced to complement the natural theme.

The project is a collaboration between Lekker Design and Lien Foundation, aiming to redeďŹ ne kindergarten environment in overlooked spaces, with different landcscapes in Singapore. I am grateful to be involved greatly in the 4th Kindergarten, Over the Canal, under the supervision of Lekker Founders, Mr. Joshua Commaroff and Ms Ong Ker Shing.

The school is assembled from a network of bridge-like structures crossing the canal.
Our vast network of large drainage canals are an untapped reserve of spaces, located throughout the national landscape. Schools built over these canals may become catalysts in naturalising and beautifying these concrete infrastructures.
