Salmi grew up enjoying the bountiful lakes, streams and wilderness areas of northeastern Minnesota. The lasting impression of this environment, along with his experiences living in the desert southwest and visits to coastal Maine, infuse his understanding of contemporary abstract painting to lay the foundation for these abstract impressions of light and form.

Join us for a good old-fashioned band concert featuring music from the Golden Age of American concert bands and jazz bands. This music is sure to get your toes tapping with a repertoire ranging from John Phillip Sousa to Count Basie. Featuring the virtuosic cornet playing of Millikin professor David Moore.
