Millikin University’s MBA program is designed for students and professionals who want to take the next step in their academic and professional careers. Our program offers a competitive advantage in today’s business economy, where competition is fierce and performance is crucial.

Our curriculum teaches students to “Think Like an Executive” and focuses on our three main Pillars of Excellence:

ACCOUNTING & FINANCE

MARKETING & STRATEGY

MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP

DR. NAJIBA BENABESS Dean of the Tabor School of Business

Millikin University’s Master of Business Administration program, offered by the Tabor School of Business, is specifically designed to prepare you for advancement or a change in your career. With a curriculum embedded in leadership and management skills, critical and analytical thinking, communication and global perspective, our cohort MBA program is guaranteed to help you boost your professional skills, become globally minded and accelerate your career. Whether you choose our 12-month daytime program or our 17-month evening program, Millikin’s MBA is sure to fit your schedule. Our students have access to a dedicated MBA suite that features videoconferencing and recording capabilities used for both local and online instruction. It is our mission to help you gain an edge for professional success.

ONE PROGRAM. TWO DELIVERIES. THREE CONCENTRATIONS.

INFINITE POSSIBILITIES. Our program offers the same rigorous curriculum via two delivery options, both tailored to the diverse needs of today’s ambitious business leaders and the leaders of tomorrow. Our three concentrations offer the opportunity to bring goals into specific focus as students develop their skills through innovation, collaboration and Performance Learning. With the support of our experienced faculty, students will learn how to connect theory with practice to strengthen their overall understanding of the business landscape. Regardless of the program selected, students will gain mastery of all of the functional areas of business and be prepared to positively impact organizations, communities and individuals.

DAYTIME MBA PROGRAM

Our 12-month daytime program allows aspiring business professionals to benefit from classes within the project management concentration and is taught in an accelerated format.

EVENING MBA PROGRAM

Designed with the working adult in mind, our 17-month evening program offers the opportunity to select from concentrations in management and healthcare administration.

PROGRAM FEATURES BOOT CAMP

Students in both the daytime and evening programs begin their MBA experience with our immersive MBA Boot Camp, which readies individuals from all undergraduate disciplines for graduate academic study. A wide range of faculty cover critical business topics and concepts to prepare students from every background to be successful.

C-SUITE FACULTY

Our MBA faculty are more than teachers — they are seasoned entrepreneurs with their own businesses, international leaders, consultants for Fortune 500 companies and award-winning authors. We have experienced CEOs, CFOs and COOs sharing their knowledge, experiences and networks as they coach and mentor students with an emphasis on forward momentum.

TEAM-BASED COHORT

A key strength of the Millikin MBA program lies in its team-learning cohort model. Teams are comprised of students from diverse backgrounds who collaborate in order to solve real business problems. This team environment, rich in support, allows students to foster career connections and build professional networks.

HIGH-TECH LEARNING ENVIRONMENT

Students have access to a dedicated MBA suite that features videoconferencing and presentation recording capabilities used for both local and remote instruction. These technological advances help us maintain a global classroom and allow our students to still attend live when life happens.

Millikin’s MBA program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).

EVENING MBA PROGRAM Students in the evening MBA program come from a variety of educational backgrounds. They work in all types of small and corporate businesses in fields such as accounting, healthcare, engineering, information systems, human resources, manufacturing and entrepreneurship. This results in cohorts featuring a wide range of talents and business knowledge.

OUR EVENING PROGRAM FEATURES TWO CONCENTRATIONS:

MANAGEMENT This general management concentration is geared toward the highly motivated professional who seeks a leadership position in an organization or aspires to run their own organization.

HEALTHCARE ADMINISTRATION This concentration is designed to meet the needs of those within the healthcare industry who seek to learn more about forging a dynamic organization in an increasingly connected world.

AND ONE CERTIFICATE OPTION: Millikin also offers a graduate healthcare administration certificate for individuals within the healthcare industry who are looking to grow into positions of leadership.
