Introduction This is a digital portfolio of the most successful pieces of work I have created throughout my second year of studying Fashion Communication & Styling at Middlesex University.

COMME IN MY FACE
Comme in my face was a project where we created a guerilla event for a ficitional brand using interesting and innovative ways to communicate here are some pages from my sketchbook. I mostly explored communication through print and photography, trying to come up with an event concept that was fun and visually captivating, highlighting positivity and happiness in places that can often promote stress and unhapiness.

Survival guide was a project were we had to create a guide based on our time at our placements, the guide could include things like; what to do, what to wear, places to eat around where the company is based. I created a guide using print and acetate pages, I wanted it to feel almost like a notebook so it would be easy to carry around during your placement.

CHALK PR SURVIVAL GUIDE PROJECT PRINTS
I also wanted to make it fun as the “how to” guide at Chalk PR where I interned was dull and looked too official and office based for me.

Bespoke was a project where I got to create my own brief, at first this was difficult but then the more work I was generating the clearer my brief became to me. I began creating a print book for Basso & Brooke, starting off from one of their prints and trailing off into a “K.HOLE” as I have named my publication. This project really helped me to understand what I enjoyed and my strengths and weaknesses. In year 3 I aim to create the next issue of “K.HOLE”.

The Summary of Year Two Year two was a huge step-up from year 1, time management was diffIcult with hand-ins being close to each other. However, I think year 2 was the year that everyone discovered what area they wanted to work in, first choosing between either graphics or styling. Then leading off into doing your very own brief and project. This was challenging with so many choices to make and so many options as to what you could do. It ended up actually being harder than just being given a straight forward brief!!
