Bandesive® – Superior Adhesive Bandage

Also used for securing dressings and appliances over large areas. Gives superior stretch and uniform return pressure.

A top layer bandage with improved durability of the more modern cohesive bandage, offers extra support and compression where required. Bandesive® elastic adhesive bandage tape comes with a guideline down the center; this is to ensure even ½ overlap on application. Porous, water repellent material covered with a layer of adhesive, useful for holding on awkwardly positioned dressings and offers excellent durability and adhesion particularly when used under the foot or load or when immobilization is necessary such as a Robert Jones.

Used for support or compression where required in the treatment of fractures, swollen or sprained joints and tissue traumas. Also used for securing dressings over large areas and fixation of appliances as the final layer.

• Ribbon-woven elastic cloth with soft selvedge that prevents fraying.

• Versa-Ply cotton twist yarn provides high, yet controlled and sustained tensile strength.

• Full spread adhesive providing even adhesion and compression.

• Self-Wound - Traditional ‘pull-off’ roll to apply, best for ease of handling in field situations.

• Does not tear and is highly resistant to puncture.

• Red guide line along center of width for even overlap.

Larger widths are perfect for securing poultices in place, hoof trimming and dehorning procedures. Millpledge’s Eaze Off® can be used to temporarily destabilize the adhesive used on Bandesive® to check healing wounds or devices before being re-applied.
