DEREK MCLANE (Scenic Designer) received a Drama Desk Award and an Outer Critics Circle Award Honour for his work on Moulin Rouge! He has designed more than 350 productions for Broadway, Off–Broadway, International tours, and television. Credits include Burn This, The Parisian Woman, Anything Goes, The Price, Fully Committed, Beautiful, Ragtime, I Am My Own Wife, 33 Variations (Tony Award). He has designed six Academy Awards presentations (Emmy Award) and four live musicals for NBC, including Hairspray (Emmy Award).

ALEJO VIETTI (Costume Designer) An Argentine native, Alejo immigrated to the US in the late ‘90s. Broadway: Allegiance, Beautiful The Carole King Musical – (also Nat’l Tour, West End, Australia, Japan). NYC: Holiday Inn (Roundabout), Radio City Rockettes, Manhattan Theatre Club, NYC Center Encores, Atlantic Theatre Company, NYC Opera, The New Group, MCC. Has designed extensively for Regional theaters, Lyric Opera of Chicago, Minnesota Opera, Colorado Ballet, Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus, and more. ETHAN STEIMEL (Lighting Designer) has designed lights for Masters of Illusion--Live! (US/Canada Tour), La Bohéme (El Paso Opera), The Cher Show (Gateway Playhouse), The Goodbye Girl (J2 Musical Theatre), The Baker’s Wife (Theatre Row), Othello (New Place Players), Julius Caesar (Trinity Rep), Kinky Boots (Forestburgh Playhouse). As a lighting director he has worked at CNN, Bloomberg, and Broadway HD. Their exceptional talent and innovative approach have garnered attention in the Off-Broadway scene. Notable shows include “Mark” at Theater 315, “Hamlet” at the Flea Theater, “Charlie” at Theaterlabs, and “Hello from Bertha” at Theater Row. Adrian’s meticulous attention to detail and ability to craft immersive atmospheres have captivated audiences repeatedly. Their versatility shines through as they seamlessly navigate traditional and cutting-edge lighting technologies. CHAD PARSLEY (Sound Designer) is a Chicago based Sound Designer who is delighted to join Tuacahn for Beautiful The Carole King Story. Chad has spent the last 25 years working in the sound departments of Hamilton: An American Musical, The Book of Mormon, SIX, Beautiful the Carole King Story, Jersey Boys, Tootsie, Rock of Ages, Spamalot, and Avenue Q. Design credits include; The Book of Mormon (Networks Entertaiment), Jersey Boys (Norwegian Cruise Lines), Super You, Evita, Hunchback of Notre Dame (Sklight Music Theater), Emma (Chicago Shakespeare Theater), Joesph and … (Dallas Theater Center), The Wiz (Dallas Theater Center).

MATTHEW REEVES OLIVER (Hair & Makeup Coordinator) is so excited to be back at Tuacahn. This is his 10th season here. He is now the full-time Wig supervisor and designer of Tarzan and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. He has done shows all over. Some of his favorite shows include: Mary Poppins (Tuacahn), Honky Tonk Angels (Artistree), Ragtime (MacHaydn) in which he received the Broadway World award for best regional wig design, Wicked (Broadway), Young Frankenstein (Musical Theatre West), and Sound of Music (Alabama Shakespeare festival), just to name a few. This is his fifth Mary Poppins. What a great show to come back to.

GUS KICKHAM* (Asst. Stage Manager) After graduating from Saint Louis University in 2021, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Management and a Minor in Theater, some recent credits include: Assistant Stage Manager for the Saint Louis High School Musical Theater Awards, Production Assistant for Westport Playhouse’s Avenue Q, Production Stage Manager for Saint Louis University’s production of Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night and I’ve had the privilege to act simultaneously as the Lighting Designer and Production Stage Manager for multiple productions for Dances of India Saint Louis’ Arangetram. I’m excited to take this opportunity to move across the country to work with such amazing artists!
