FARAWAY CLOSE (World Premiere)
Choreography: Nicolo Fonte Music: Harry Escott and Max Richter* Costume Design: Ballet West Costume Shop Lighting: Michael Mazzola During this very unusual and challenging time we are all living through, the need to experience connection has never seemed more vital. We still have to stay faraway from each other but we remain close in soul and spirit. The outcome of the future seems so far away and yet we are so close. Everything so out of reach and yet upfront and real. “Faraway Close” comes from a desire to breathe, move and share with all of you, through the power and beauty of dance, the resilience and limitless potential of the human spirit to rise above adversity and fulfill its mission to unlock the gates of the soul and seek its divine essence. - Nicolo Fonte
