WHO’S WHO DEVIN REY BARNEY is thrilled to be returning to SATURDAY’S VOYEUR!! Since last he was seen on the SLAC stage, Devin has appeared in the University of Utah productions of THE BEAUTIFUL GAME (Del), STEEL PIER (Buddy Becker) and DOGFIGHT (Lounge Singer). So much love to friends and family for their generous love and support.
ERIC LEE BROTHERSON* is celebrating his 20th year in
Actor’s Equity, and is thrilled to be in his 3rd Voyeur at SLAC, having performed in it last year as Jason Chaffetz. In his career, Eric has performed in 25 countries, 45 states, and over 100 cities worldwide. He has performed from rural casinos to Lincoln Center to European opera houses. He has choreographed, taught voice and dance, and coaches privately. He currently is a Special Education teacher. He graduated with honors in the social sciences and English, but has remained in the arts because he believes in the sacredness of storytelling. His proudest moments on stage were as Tugger in the NW Premiere of CATS, as Mike in Pioneer’s production of CHORUS LINE, and in the Seattle production of TOMMY directed by Brian Yorkey, where he was associate choreographer and dance captain. WHO’S WHO OLIVIA CUSTODIO is back for her third VOYEUR! Favorite roles
include the Lady of the Lake in SPAMALOT (The Grand), Elizabeth in STREETLIGHT WOODPECKER (SLAC), Anna in HOUSES (Riot Act Theatre), Ana in BURN (Sackerson), and Domina in A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM (University of Utah). Olivia has a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and her Masters in Music from the University of Utah. Olivia firmly believes that soup is the worst of all the foods and wind is the worst of all the natural elements. A special thank you to Dan, who always brings her things when she doesn’t want to move from the couch, and her parents, who are the reason she’s so weird.

Trevor attended the Musical Theatre program at Weber State University and has performed with several different venues across the Rocky Mt. Region.
JUSTIN IVIE* is a proud member of Actors’ Equity who is
thrilled be a part of SLAC’s 47th season! SLAC audiences will recognize Justin from his nine previous appearances in the cast of SATURDAY’S VOYEUR; as Dev in STUPD FUCKING BIRD and as Jones in 2010’s TOO MUCH MEMORY. He has also served as Stage Manager for many recent SLAC shows and directed SLAC’s readings of GRANT & TWIN and BANG-BANG (PAUSE) BANG. His many other acting credits include appearances with Pioneer Theatre Company, Utah Musical Theatre, Egyptian Theatre Company, Old Lyric Repertory Theatre, and many other others - both locally and in Chicago. A Weber State alumnus, Justin earned his MFA in Acting at Northern Illinois University. He has taught theatre and communications at LDS Business College, NIU, Triton College, and Weber State. Justin also designs scenery, props and theatrical masks, writes an occasional play, and sometimes even plays his banjo (when he’s pretty sure no one is listening).
NATALIE KEEZER is beyond thrilled to be performing in
SATURDAY’S VOYEUR for the first time. Natalie moved to Salt Lake City after graduating from The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre Training Program in Los Angeles. She most recently appeared as Marjorie Baverstock in THE MUSICAL COMEDY MURDERS OF 1940 (The Grand Theatre) and as Herself in THE WEYWARD SISTERS (Pygmalion Theatre Company). WHO’S WHO ALLEN NEVINS (Playwright) has
been writing for SATURDAY’S VOYEUR the last 29 years. He came to the Salt Lake Acting Company in 1989 as the Literary Manager and in 1990 he formed a writing and business partnership with Nancy Borgenicht. In 1993, their partnership, Saturday’s Voyeur, Inc., became the management company and the Executive Producers of the Salt Lake Acting Company. As Executive Producers they expanded and re-built the Upstairs Theatre, designed and built the Chapel Theatre as an alternative performing space, unionized SLAC’s acting pool and re-instituted Saturday’s Voyeur as the annual summer fundraiser for the Salt Lake Acting Company. In their 12 years as Executive Producers, they produced over 70 full-length plays, 40 public readings, and developed multiple new works for the American stage. Since his retirement in 2005 as an Executive Producer, he has focused on maintaining SATURDAY’S VOYEUR as an outlet for discourse, dissent, irreverent humor, cheap shots at elected officials; and of course, political incorrectness in all its forms.
NANCY BORGENICHT (Lyricist)
has been part of the Salt Lake Acting Company since 1974. She created SATURDAY’S VOYEUR in 1978. She served as SLAC’s Co-Executive Producer with Allen Nevins from 1993-2005. She is extremely proud of the artists they supported and the playwrights they commissioned and produced during those rebuilding years: ANGELS IN AMERICA in 1995-96 was a turning point. The commissioning of new works by J.T. Rogers, Julie Jensen, and David Kranes was a proud part of the theatre’s mission; and producing the regional premiers of work by Tony Kushner, Arthur Miller, Edward Albee, Jane Martin, A.R. Gurney, Michael Hollinger, Richard Greenberg, Paula Vogel, David Ives, Moises Kaufman, Martin McDonagh, Amy Freed, Nilo Cruz, Terry Johnson, Shelagh Stephenson, Charles Mee, Kenneth
WHO’S WHO Lonergan, Theresa Rebeck, Adam Bock, Tracy Letts, Doug Wright and Julia Jordan became the honor of a lifetime. Borgenicht is currently developing STAG’S LEAP, a Pulitzer Prize winning book of poems by Sharon Olds, for the stage. STAG’S LEAP was produced this past January as part of SLAC’s New Play Development Program. She would like to thank Cynthia Fleming and the STAG’S LEAP audience for their incredible feedback and support. She would like to thank the Voyeur audience whose enthusiasm and energy keeps us going--- and the hundreds of artists and technical staff for their talent, patience and leaps of faith over these past forty years. CYNTHIA FLEMING (Director, Executive Artistic Director) has been in the world of dance and theatre professionally for over 38 years, during which time she performed in the Broadway, National and International companies with A CHORUS LINE. Since 1995 she has worn many hats at SLAC, including Choreographer, Director, Box Office Manager and Director of Audience Services. She developed SLAC’s high quality customer service titled: Mayberry meets Space Odyssey, which is the foundation for the record breaking number of subscribers. WHO’S WHO and assembled the communication team to generate a renewed energy and excitement about the theatre. In 2010 she became Co-Executive Producer and is now honored to be SLAC’s Executive Artistic Director. Cynthia remains a working artist in the theatre and has choreographed many SLAC productions including SATURDAY’S VOYEUR for 15 years and directed/choreographed this musical for 6 years. Cynthia is proud to serve SLAC and its mission to engage and enrich community through brave contemporary theatre.
MICHAEL LEAVITT (Music Director) a native of Las Vegas, is returning to
SATURDAY’S VOYEUR for his second year. As a graduate student in Collaborative Piano at the University of Utah, Michael is a vocal coach, accompanist as well as musical director in the opera, choral, and musical theater departments. Recently, Michael wrote a new one-act opera setting of CHARLES DICKENS’ A CHRISTMAS CAROL which premiered at the Grand Theater performed by the University of Utah Lyric Opera Ensemble. As associate conductor, Michael worked with Tony award winning soprano Audra McDonald for the Hale Center Theater Orem’s production of 110 IN THE SHADE. In addition, Michael has been the pianist, music director, and/or conductor for many musical theater and opera productions including: DIE FLEDERMAUS, AMAHL AND THE NIGHT VISITORS, LE NOZZE DE FIGARO, SMOKEY JOE’S CAFE, OKLAHOMA, AIDA, GUYS AND DOLLS, and more.

WHO’S WHO always considered Utah “home”. She has had a blast working on a staple of Utah Theater – Saturdays Voyeur! Thank you to her wonderful husband Daniel for being her strength and her crazy children for all the snuggle time.
ERIN SIMS (Projection Design) is delighted to be making her solo design debut
at SLAC. Her recent design credits include AND HERE WE ARE (University of Utah), and THE LITTLE MERMAID (Wasatch Junior High School). Her assistant credits include SATURDAY’S VOYEUR 2017 (SLAC), and BRING IT ON (University of Utah). Erin graduated this May from the University of Utah with a BFA in Art, with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Drawing. She plans to attend graduate school to pursue a MFA in Projection Design. She would like to thank her parents and David for their support in all her creative endeavors.
MAXWELL SELTENRICH (Sound Design) has worked on and off for Salt Lake
Acting Company since 2012. He has worked as an electrician, carpenter, audio engineer and audio consultant. He is the Assistant Technical Director for Park City Institute as well as working as a Technical Director for the Salt Lake County Center of the Arts. Maxwell also works as a live audio engineer for many of the local Salt Lake based live audio companies and venues.
SHANNON MUSGRAVE (Dramaturg, Associate Artistic Director) Shannon
began at Salt Lake Acting Company in 2008 and has worn many hats here since then. She has been Associate Artistic Director since 2014. SLAC directing credits include MERCURY by Steve Yockey, readings of LAURA AND THE SEA by Kate Tarker and BLEEDING HEARTS by Steve Yockey, and assistant director on STUPID F*CKING BIRD and the past three years of SATURDAY’S VOYEUR. She’s appeared on SLAC’s stage in STAG’S LEAP, SATURDAY’S VOYEUR ‘09-’11, GO DOG GO!, and HOW I BECAME A PIRATE. Other Salt Lake City directing credits include GIDION’S KNOT (Pinnacle Acting Company) and HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE (Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival). Shannon programs and runs SLAC’s annual playwrights’ lab, which has developed plays by Kathleen Cahill, Hilary Bettis, Dominic Finocchiaro, Winter Miller, David Jacobi, Hansol Jung, Kate Tarker, Troy Deutsch, and Jon Tuttle. In Washington D.C. Shannon worked in artistic development at Arena Stage, was a directing apprentice for the Kennedy Center’s Directing Intensive: Developing the New Play, and was a company member with Flying V Theatre. She holds her B.A. in Musical Theatre from Weber State University and her M.A. in Arts Management from American University.
NICK FLEMING (Guitar) is excited to be back in the SATURDAY’S VOYEUR band
for his second year. In addition to playing guitar in last year’s SATURDAY’S VOYEUR, he also works here in the offices at Salt Lake Acting Company. When he’s not putting his skills to good use at SLAC, you can find him shredding all around the West Coast with his other bands, Wicked Bears and Show Me Island. SPENCER KELLOGG (Saxophone & Woodwinds) is so excited to be back at Salt
Lake Acting Company for SATURDAY’S VOYEUR! Spencer is a multi-instrumentalist specializing in the woodwind and guitar families. During the academic year, Spencer works at the McKay Music Library in the School of Music at the U of U. When he’s not playing music, his zen moments are on a motorcycle in the mountains.

has worked at Salt Lake Acting Company for the past 6 years as stage manager, Company Manager, and Associate Producer and currently serves as SLAC’s Producing Director. Janice is a proud member of Actor’s Equity Association and has stage managed over twenty shows at SLAC, including the last seven SATURDAY’S VOYEUR’s. Previously, Janice has worked at Park City’s Egyptian Theatre, Dark Horse Company Theatre, Plan-B, and Tuacahn Center for the Arts. University Professional Theatre Program I plan to gain experience mixing a live show in the professional setting. I intend to use this opportunity to meet new people in the theatrical field, making me better known as a mix engineer and bringing in more jobs like this in my future. I really value this program because I don’t get many other opportunities to mix shows in the professional world. Aaron Hoenig | U of U | Audio Engineer UPTP is an amazing opportunity to work with individuals who have a lot of experience working in the field. Because this will be the first production I will be mixing, this program will help me learn and refine those skill. I am confident that I will have a greater understanding of all the elements that go into live mixing and develop more refined listening ear. I will gain an understanding of how to collaborate with an artistic team, for example, when it is appropriate to share thoughts and when I need to be a team player. Salt Lake Acting Company is elated to continue our partnership with Art Access during the run of SATURDAY’S VOYEUR 2018. The mission of Art Access is to build a diverse and inclusive arts community in Utah through creative opportunities for people with disabilities and other marginalized communities, and through public engagement in the arts. Through their various arts programs, such as professional development for artists with disabilities, "Capitol Voyeur Reef" by Kandace Steadman. Integrated Arts residencies in schools, and art therapy for survivors of sexual abuse, Art Access serves over 18,000 adults and children each year. Art Access is proud to present ‘Welcome to Utah’ by Kandace Steadman and Chauncey Secrist, featuring mixed media collages playing on two of Utah’s most (in) famous features: the red rock of Southern Utah, and the LDS Church. Using pages from Utah history books and iconic National Park imagery, these artists playfully rearrange the sanitized images of Utah to expose something below the surface. This work is “a goodnatured play on local cultures and archetypes.” (Chauncey Secrist), “No rock surfaces were defaced in the making of this art.” (Kandace Steadman).
Terence K. Stephens is a native of Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1981 in Fine Arts. He then pursued an art career in Washington, D.C., Seattle and San Francisco where he did design work for high end retailers, had art exhibitions and painted murals. Several years ago Terence returned to Utah where he opened an art gallery, Art 270, in downtown Salt Lake City, from 2014-2017. He showcased a variety of local artists, lecturers, dancers, performers and taught art classes. He is now a regular citizen continuing to create art about nature, animals and people.
