As a community asset, Tuacahn entertains more than 285,000 patrons each year, with musicals, concerts, shopping, food, and other special events. Tuacahn is Utah’s largest professional non-profit theatre and acts as an economic engine generating an annual impact of more than $85 million. Visitors stay in hotels, dine at restaurants, and shop at retail outlets while enjoying recreational activities in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. Tuacahn High School (THS) for the Performing Arts is Utah’s first public charter school, opening in 1999. THS offers an intimate college and career preparatory academic experience with a focus on the arts - music, dance, drama, musical theatre, visual arts, and technical theatre. There is no tuition for Utah residents and outof-state students pay a modest investment to attend. Combined with the Amphitheatre, there is no other high school experience comparable to Tuacahn High School.
