PROFESSIONAL BULL RIDERS APRIL 5–6 ⊲ 8:00 PM PBR sponsored by

This is not a rodeo. We don’t rope calves, and we don’t chase barrels. This is bull riding, and the first rule is just to stay alive. The Professional Bull Riders was created in 1992 when a group of 20 visionary bull riders broke away from the traditional rodeo scene seeking mainstream attention for the sport of professional bull riding. The combination of raw sport and quality entertainment has propelled the PBR to strong growth in live attendance as well. The PBR attracts over 1.5 million live event attendees each year with its multi-tiered event structure. Professional bull riding is a fierce, rough, and grueling sport with roots deeply embedded in American culture. It’s America’s original extreme sport.

MICHAEL MCDONALD APRIL 13 ⊲ 8:00 PM One of the world’s most distinctive singing voices, Michael McDonald is often imitated but never duplicated (although Justin Timberlake has come close on “The Tonight Show” to comedic effect, as has actor John Viener on “Family Guy”). He’s had enough humility over the years to freely blend that voice with others’, whether as a member of Steely Dan, a Doobie Brother, as a highly successful solo artist and songwriter, a member of the supergroup the Dukes of September or, most recently, reaching the Coachella generation as a celebrated co-star on Thundercat’s indie hit “Show You the Way.” Fans who’ve wanted to hear that 50,000-watt clear channel of a voice all by itself have had to bide their time — not just minute by minute, but year by year — waiting for McDonald to reclaim a solo spotlight.

FRANKIE VALLI & THE FOUR SEASONS APRIL 27 ⊲ 8:00 PM Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons have been delighting sold-out audiences with their unique sound since their 1962 breakthrough as one of the hottest bands of all time. Taking their name from a New Jersey cocktail lounge where they flunked an audition, band members Valli, Tommy DeVito, Nick Massi, and Bob Gaudio had a rather slow beginning. However, nearly eight years after forming their group, Valli and the Seasons became an overnight sensation with the release of their No. 1 hit song, “Sherry”. Riding on the sudden success of the record, Gaudio worked with Bob Crewe to immediately compose two more No. 1 hits for the Seasons: “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and “Walk Like a Man.” From 1962 to 1978, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons sold more than 100 million records, and were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990. Amid the rising success of the Four Seasons, Frankie Valli balanced a successful solo career. With the 1967 release of “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You,” he established himself as a solo superstar that would fuel his continued success even after Massi, DeVito, and Gaudio left the group by the early 70’s. As the only original member of the Four Seasons, Frankie has toured almost continuously since 1962, and his songs have been omnipresent in such movies as The Deer Hunter, Dirty Dancing, Mrs. Doubtfire, Conspiracy Theory, and The Wanderers. Frankie and his legendary group have seen countless waves of success, not the least of which stem from the Tony Award-winning musical, Jersey Boys, which highlights hit songs such as “Big Girls Don’t Cry,” “Walk Like a Man,” and “Rag Doll”.
