The teas that flourish on the Uva mountains have a distinct minty, floral character. Made with loving care, our blend is strong and rounded with a beautiful, traditional aroma.

Additional notes Fennel is a highly aromatic herb. We take the seeds which have a delicate flavour similar, but nowhere near as strong in taste, as liquorice. Lime tree leaves have been used as a herbal remedy since ancient times for multiple purposes including blood thinning, treating mouth wounds and relieving swollen feet.

Rose petals compliment the overall blend with an elegant, light floral taste.

Peppercorns are the world’s most widely traded spice. Piperine is the chemical compound that gives pepper its distinctive flavour and sometimes gets right up your nose.

Ginger is the rhizome of the flowering plant with the wonderful name – Zingiber officinale. We scrape the flavoursome outer parts of the rhizome by hand and then delicately dry them to preserve all that gingery goodness.

Additional notes Rosehip is the fruit of the rose plant. As with the flowers that preceded them, the rosehip has a delicate floral flavour that is slightly sweet with a distinctive after taste.
