LINK UP

Link Up pairs orchestras across the country with students in grades 3-5 at schools in their local communities to explore orchestral repertoire through a year-long hands-on music curriculum.

Cabaniss New World Symphony, movement 2 (Largo) Beethoven, arr. Melody is a universal element of music. Composers and musicians create melodies, which can be sung or played on instruments. Through the Link Up repertoire, students explore the ways composers and musicians use melodies to “sing” in this culminating concert with the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra. This concert will feature the 2019 Audrey G. Baird Stars of Tomorrow Competition Winner. *MAM tours not available for Link Up.

I liked that the show was interactive; like when we would sing and play the recorder. I liked that most of the songs were intense and exciting.” Sage, Roosevelt School student
