Fascinatin' rhythm. Sizzling syncopation.

Welcome to a carefree season with the MSO Pops. Now in its 52nd season, the Milwaukee Symphony Pops continues its longstanding commitment to the lighter side of music. Stein Family Foundation Principal Pops Conductor Marvin Hamlisch programs six delightfully engaging, toe-tapping performances each season. And this year is no exception. Beginning with Marvin Does Broadway, Maestro Hamlisch takes you on a journey to a city that never sleeps. Then, get your holiday off to a joyful start with Jeff Tyzik and one of Milwaukee's favorite musical traditions — Holiday Pops featuring the MSO Chorus, Milwaukee Children's Choir, and the Alleluia Ringers of Concordia University. Kevin Cole returns to the MSO Pops to usher in a charming new year with timeless melodies and tender love songs in The Gershwins: Here to Stay. Nobody does it better than Carl Davis with soundtrack music from movies with everyone's favorite spy in 007: Bond and Beyond. Eileen Ivers, a sweetheart of an Irish fiddler, joins the orchestra in March for a Celtic Celebration, and last but far from least, a voyage into space: the final frontier. Sulu, aka George Takei, navigates our Sci-Fi Spectacular with conductor Jack Everly.

Embark on an incredible journey. Be free, and go wherever the music takes you. 1
