What is 6 Sigma?
Six Sigma is a business management strategy, originally developed by Motorola, which today enjoys widespread application in many sectors of the industry. Six Sigma seeks to identify and remove the causes of defects and errors in manufacturing and business processes. It uses a set of quality management methods, including statistical methods, and creates a special infrastructure of people within the organization ("Black Belts" etc.) who are experts in these methods. Each Six Sigma project carried out within an organization follows a defined sequence of steps and has quantified financial targets (cost reduction or profit increase). Why Six Sigma?
Six Sigma (6‐σ) companies learned that quality saves money, because there are fewer throw‐outs, fewer warranty payouts and fewer refunds. And doing all that, in turn, increases profits.” The main thrust of Six Sigma is to reduce errors and waste in every kind of business endeavor to please customers and fatten the bottom line.
Six Sigma Quick Facts 1. Six Sigma is management methodology driven by data. 2. Six Sigma focuses on projects that will produce measurable business results. For example GE Capital saved $2 Billion in 1999 using Six Sigma. 3. Six Sigma is based upon improving processes by understanding and controlling variation, thus improving predictability of business processes. 4. Six Sigma is not just training. Each participant, called a "Belt" (either Black or Green) is required to have a leadership approved project prior to training.

Green Belt Certification Overview (5 DAYS) The Six Sigma Green Belt serves as a specially trained team member within his or her function‐specific area of the organization. This focus allows the Green Belt to work on small, carefully defined Six Sigma projects, requiring less than a Black Belt’s full‐time commitment to Six Sigma throughout the organization. Our Training provides participants with enhanced problem‐solving skills, with an emphasis on the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) model. The Green Belt has two primary tasks: first, to help successfully deploy Six Sigma techniques, and second, to lead small‐scale improvement projects within their respective areas.
What does it cover? Our Green Belt Certification Program covers everything within the Yellow Belt Certification Program; however, it also covers the following topics: •
Introduction to DMAIC and Other Improvement Models
•
Basic Principles of Measurement
•
Measurement Systems Analysis

Recognition Our certification is well recognized in the business community (in addition to the International Societies and Organizations of Six Sigma Professionals) and we take the needs of employers very seriously. Many other courses certify their students without a serious attempt of teaching the fundamentals of Six Sigma methodology. Our programs were designed to offer the most flexibility while still retaining a rigorous course‐load. Our students not only learn the methodology, but they learn how to reference the material when solving a problem... whether it is during the course, or later in business.
Many companies in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East benefit from having their employees in our training and certification programs.
