Digicom ARK 1000/1200 Processor A Digital Display System Processor The Digicom ARK Series The Digicom ARK Digital Display System Processor is the ultimate solution for command and control applications requiring 24/7 operations. It blends seamless display into installations in Network Operation Centers (NOC), Public Utility Control Centers, Intelligent Traffic Management Centers, Process Control, Civil and Military Surveillance Systems, Call Centers, Financial Management Control Rooms, Boardrooms, and Video Conference Rooms. There are two Digicom ARK Series Processor models: ARK 1000 and ARK 1200 are presented by VTRON for different applications and for different scales of application. They integrate all the visual data sources found in a control room environment and display the sources in movable, scalable windows comprised of multiple outputs, all perfectly done using VTRON video cubes. Data and video sources can include local applications, remote network applications, and directly connected video and DVI inputs on either the Digicom ARK Processor or VTRON’s Video Cubes. *Note: ●

The Digicom ARK 1000 Processor supports 16 output channels - one output board has two channels. It can open 4 windows per output channel.

The Digicom ARK 1200 Processor can support 32 output channels, and each channel can display two windows.

Reliable Hardware Modulated Solution The Digicom ARK processor provides a throughput rate of 160Gbit per second which is far beyond the level of PCI bus based processors. Every video input and every DVI / VGA input is displayed synchronously on the display wall with no dropped frames and delays. It processes the signal in real time at a transmission rate of 24bpp & 30 frames per second. This latest Digicom ARK processor is built on a different architecture than the previous version. Its Modulated design ensures the high independent processing capability of each input and output module.


Uncompromising High Quality by ISV Technology with 160Gbit/S Throughput The Digicom ARK processor supports digital (DVI) outputs on its DVI-D connector at resolutions up to 1,400 x 1,050 pixels. Custom display formats can be created with easy to use software, for installations using non-standard display devices. The Digicom ARK processor is the first implementation of VTRON’s ISV Technology which enhances the video and image color sharpness. Its advanced dynamic compensation of graphic and video signal ensures the smoothness of video display and the high quality of brilliant images.

Maintain zero down time by Auto Image Recovery High availability and resilience are crucial requirements for Digital Display deployments and other business applications that are mission critical. This could be realized by VTRON’s AIR (Auto Image Recovery Technology) with genuine hot-swappable input and output modules. Image and layout on the digital display system can be recovered in 1 minute after swapping. The Digicom ARK Processor features extensive redundancy and hot-swappable power and cooling for 24/7 reliability, thus maintaining high system performance.

Extraordinary CPU Chassis Flexible Input and Output Channels Combination The Digicom ARK Processor has customizable configurations. It has 8 input slots for DVI-I, Composite Video, S-Video Input signals, and another 8 output slots for digital (DVI) outputs on its DVI-D connector at resolutions up to 1,400 x 1,050 pixels. ●

The Digicom Ark Processor comes with the most powerful CPU architecture of any display processor of its kind: dual Intel Xeon processors running at 2.0 GHz, 1333MHz front side bus coupled to a standard 2GB of DDR RAM, a PCI-X peripheral bus with 2 available slots, and built-in dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. With the capacity to add up to 4GB of RAM and the two processors with Intel Hyper-Threading technology, the Digicom Ark Processor can execute the most demanding control command. The CPU control chassis can hold optional quad Gigabit Ethernet cards as an option. All these features are formulated to create the best solution for your digital display wall system platform.
