Authors Note: While this magazine is free, we do request a donation of $1 per issue you read. This isn’t required, but it is greatly helpful. It costs around $10 to buy an actual domain name, and $20 a month to remove the ads from around this magazine. Your name will get put onto the sponsors page if you donate $5 or more, and you may place links from there to your own website. We don’t have this money, so we still have those ads and we still have a dot.tk domain, which is blocked on many websites, including the Minecraft Forums. Thank you, Minecraft Weekly.

Redstone Redstone is one of the most amazing parts of Minecraft. It is a very similar clone of digital electronic circuits based on Boolean algebra. More simply, it’s real world circuits in a video game. It allows massively complex circuitry to be done with very little knowledge of what you are actually doing. It’s one of my personal favorite aspects of the game. The other amazing thing about it is what people have done. Ever since it was introduced in early Alpha, people have done amazing things. People have even been able to build a version of chutes and ladders! There is even a new version being created that allows the computer to play! Because of how awesome Redstone is, every week from now on, there will be a Redstone Tip. These can be anything, although the first ones will just be the basics to get you started. The first weekly article on Redstone explains what binary is, and how it relates to Redstone. You can find it on the Minecraft Weekly website.

Redstone Creations Minecart Storage System This system is an easy way to have it deliver many different kinds of items right to you. This particular

version was done by thebooster on the Minecraft Forums.

The Redstone behind this

Space Invaders This is one of the more amazing creations. It is the entire Space Invaders game inside of another video game! Next, we’ll have Minecraft playing Minecraft inside of Minecraft.

A lot of Redstone went into something this amazing!

Latest News Notch has just tweeted a picture of a creeper in someone’s house, which may or may not mean that creepers will be invading you in real life. Please evacuate the Earth before this happens. Seriously though, Jeb has announced that the default world will be taller than 128, but we’re not sure by how much.

Seed of the Week This week’s seed is for Minecraft 1.1, so make sure you’re on this version before you start complaining that it doesn’t work. It is a hardcore seed with a small island with one tree. The seed is “kjkszpj”.

Texture Pack of the Week We don’t have a Texture Pack of the Week this week because it’s too hard to decide on the best one. Send an email to usercontent@minecraftweekly.tk with your favorite texture pack!

Reviews There is only one review this week, because of the fact that there is just too many different maps and texture packs to choose from! If you want your map or texture pack reviewed, just send an email to usercontent@minecraftweekly.tk! The map is called “The Tourist” and it consists of an adventure in Paris, France. I’m not going to give too much away, but the building in it is amazing. Go and download it! You can find it on the Minecraft Forums at http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/9665 82-adventure-map-the-tourist-15000dl/
