MEET OUR MINRES GRADUATES
Coming to work every day is exciting, there’s always something new to learn and discover across the different commodities and subsidiaries.
The people at MinRes are always happy to share their knowledge and there’s a great team dynamic. I feel included and my contributions are valued.
The facilities at head office, subsidised gym membership, share plan, and the food on site are all fantastic.
I chose to join the MinRes graduate program because it offered far more opportunities than any other graduate program. The ability to rotate through different teams within your field gives you a great learning platform as you’re exposed to different parts of the business.
There are always opportunities to develop your knowledge through site visits, workshops with guest speakers and graduate events.
One of the most interesting experiences I’ve had so far during my rotations has been my role in reliability, I’ve learned how significant reliability is in the mining industry.
I’ve worked on asset maintenance strategies and parameters for crushers and screens, conducted root cause analysis, and examined oil samples and vibrations of various components to track wear and tear. This has broadened my knowledge and driven my enthusiasm for a successful career in this field.
