GREEN LAKE SMALL CRAFT CENTER GREEN LAKE, SEATTLE, WA / 2014 The concept of this project is based on the programs and existing buildings on the site. It considers how boat storage can be functional and efficient, and also how daily actvities operate within and outside of the building. The diagrams show my intial thoughts on how to generate program. The boat storage and the main building, and their respective programs have a critical relationship SKY LIGHT

Little Saigon Affordable Housing (Integrated Studio) Little Saigon Seattle WA YEAR 2015

The Little Saigon Landmark Project is a mixed use low income residential complex planned for the little Saigon District of the International District. As per the GGLO feasibility study: “The Friends of Little Saigon (FLS) group seeks to create a gathering place for the regional Vietnamese community in or adjacent to the Little Saigon business district. This can be accomplished by bringing together the district’s cultural, shopping, and culinary aspects in a distinctive physical anchor—the Landmark Project—located in the heart of Little Saigon. The mixed-use Landmark Project will consist of a cultural center, Southeast Asian grocery, Emerald Night Market, and restaurant as its main components. Affordable housing and parking will also be included to accommodate the region’s growing Vietnamese population. This studio looks at the development of the commercial base and a residential apartment complex comprising of 273 units of varying size. -5-

RAC ART CENTER ACOUSTIC WALL (GROUP DESIGN BUILD) FORKS, SEATTLE, WA / 2015

INDIVIDUAL PROPOSAL RENDERING In October 2012, a devastating fire destroyed the former International Order of Odd Fellows building on Highway 101 in Forks, WA. Not only was it one of the most noble of the city’s original structures, but it housed the Rainforest Arts Center – a key cultural resource in this important community on the Olympic Peninsula. The 2013 UWCollab/Fab studio partnered with the City of Forks and the RAC to propose ideas for a replacement, and based on our community engagement, the City Council voted to proceed with re-building – selecting NAC as architects for the New RAC. This spring a dozen UW architecture students will design, fabricate and install the final piece of this project, a set of Acoustic/Tactile/Visual Walls.

THE FOLLY OLYMPIC BLVD, LOS ANGELES, CA / 2015

The FOLLY Olympic Blvd, Los Angeles CA YEAR 2015

This project was designed in my first year studio of my master degree. the site is locared on the Olympic blvd, where is in Korean town, Los Angeles. the challeng I give my self for this project is that how can I built up a folly on a small triangular site that can have some good impact to the neighborhood. Infrastructure was the first thought coming out of my mind. when we visiting the site, I found it is quite difficult to across the blvd from on side to another. Olympic blvd always have some big traffic on it. so I was thinking to design a folly that can let people circulate througn, which can letting people across the Olmpic blvd, and at the same time they can have a nice landscape to stop and relax. this folly will be stand for a strong figure on the Olympic, but at the same time it can totally serve the neighbors as a infrastructure. that is also my intension of the architecural designs. I thought the best architecture should be albe to both visually and functionally satisfied by the users.

And one of the most important programs in this project is the Garage. is a dynamic, state-of-the-art workspace that fosters creativity, fine-tunes skills and encourages collaboration. the garage spaces inspire me and drive me to start my design base on the importance of sharing, collaboration and creativity. Three massive garage spaces took out from the mass, form three big void connect to the central courtyard space. Which can be read very obviously in this solid mass Corresponds to the Three garage concept.

Central Market Brewery Downtown, Los Angeles CA YEAR 2016

This is a brewery project located on the Broadway, Los Angles. it is the first project that you need to really considering the program, structure, egress system, HAVC system during the design process. which really enhance on stuffs we need to focus on in reality. the site is pretty unique, it is right next to the Central Market, whihc is a hotspot of DTLA, so the project was started with a analysis of the people flow around the site. I want to fouse on how do people approach to the building, which becomes the main idea drving the desing start.

The ideas of designing the space of the campus if to have more sculptral spaces that can be read as three different geo shapes which located at the front. and more regular and normal spaces set on the rear part of the building, and the "big three" was designed as the feature spaces that the program in it can join and connect the space at back, also it creat lots of indoor and out door conditions.

DESCRETE DESIGN-MODULAR HOUSING NOWHERE / 2017

is the peoject from my first studio of the last year in Master program, which the goal of this project is the Studies of discrete architecture, te This desing-Modular housing serial repetition, pattern languages and combinatorial tectonics. the studio was started with the exploration of designing a board game, that help us to find out a logic to creating a system, which somwhow to define the hirearchy of "modulars", the was it combined and connected. then the part of this project is to using the modular and system to build up a house typology that can happens everywhere in the world. which the re second discrete architecture has tried to move beyond parametric architecture, by engaging the field not only through form but also through the politics and economics of fabrication. 017 The collective recognizes the neo-liberal ideologies present in the current parametric agendas championed by Patrik Schumacher and believes that through this Discrete Architecture proposition, we can develop an alternative economic model based on principles of collectivism.

THESIS-BLOCK CHAIN TOWER CENTRAL, HONG KONG / 2018

Blockchain system The easiest, as well as the most comprehensive way, to define the Blockchain (BC) would be to call it a “a highly secure, resilient, algorithmic & accurate globally distributed ledger (or global database or the biggest filesystem or the largest spreadsheet) that provides a foundational infrastructure pattern to build multiple types of what will be a “block chain” architecture looks like? how can you create a system that can let the user to create and reconfigure the space? Which could be a big challenge to the traditional architecture design. the building could be read as a bigger system or community that each part of the building can be developed with different demand, ideas, cost by multi-owners
