LA FOLIE SCENOGRAPHIE Locqtion: Park la Vilette (Paris) A folly is a decorative or attractive structure intended to complement a garden. There are 26 follies in Parc de la Villette (Paris 19st), which are evenly scattered across the park on an imaginary grid They're meant to help visitors in gaining a sense of direction and navigating throughout the space. The main cube measure 10,8 x 10,8 m, which is then subdivided into 27 smaller cubes of 3,6 m each side.In the geometrical creation of each folie, some of the smaller cubes are subtracted, some are presented as an emptied tridimensional grid. The final form was created according to several possible actions (repetition, fragmentation, intersection, qualification and distortion). My folie serves as an introduction to the neighborhood's history as well as to showcase upcoming local projects or events. Instqlling on the Ourcq canal, this folie unveils to visitors panoramic views over the area.

MR1 CLUBHOUSE Locqtion: Vam Co Dong riverside (Long An) MR1 Clubhouse is part of a grand new urban area, located in Long An, which serves its private residents. ( Local people and city dwellers with low budget). Following the demands of project investors, it would include a fitness center, yoga room and a large pool outdoor. It also include a range of entertainment facilities: barbecue terrace, coffee shop and children's playground… Taking into account the ecosystem and cultural context of the local, I would like to make room for players and guests to gather and socialize together. For that reason, it's not only dedicated to welcoming sporty players but also encouraging people to play sports. Training and workout, then take a soft drink with a group of friends, people would be spontaneously immersed in a positive vibe, which helps to balance the fast pace of urban life.

DOJO LA FUSION Location: Park Cormailles ( Ivry sur Seine) The integration, or the addition, of modern architecture into a historic district is important both on the scale of an urban sector, of a street, and of its neighbors. It applies to all types of buildings, and the dojo is not an exception. On the one hand, there wrchitectural heritage characterized by the variations, the sharp geometric decompositions of the architect Renaudie or elsewhere, Liégat by René Gailhoustet represents a parametric architecture with the facade linked, the arches sheltering the walkways...On the other hand, i am designing a dojo, which is a building applicable both to martial arts and zen, so i must consider simple volumes, balance of the plan, and sober quality of visual atmospheres, favoring a convivial and meditative ambience. Finally, I approach the origami concept as a solution to this problematic. From exterior, i would like to keep the local characteristics, especially in the geometric play with the roof, and interior, i would like to remove the frames to create a sober, refined environment. One advantage of my origami structure is that it allows you to create different openings, and these openings act as the frames that capture the different views of the park. For example, at the back of the combat room, there is a large, bright bay window.

A MUSIC & DANSE SCHOOL: RYTHM OF THE LIGHT Locqtion: Saint Denis (Seine Saint Denis) This dancing school is more than only a place for young people learn how to dance, it is a place to experience dance, socialize and engage to each other through the energy of this art. This project has a clear program of needs, the main functional areas are well separated. The aim is also to provide nice spaces for people such as a street area dance space and observation spaces, with terraces and double height. The building has a regular box shape, away from the street, providing a public space with the potential for outdoor activities. The aesthetic of the building continues the rectilinear nature of the box on the façade by creating large opening of varying sizes. The repetition reflects a sort of musical score which adorns the building with a feeling of rhythm. All of the surface treatments of the interiors no doubt serve to deal with acoustics by softening sound reflections. The sound engineering is continued by the ideal acoustic shape of the shoebox utilised for the internal theatre form to assist with shortening reverberation times.

MINIMAOUSSE: IN SITU LOIRE VALLEY* Location: Loire riverside (Nevers) *Organised by the Cité de l’Architecture & du Patrimoine (Architecture and Heritage City of Paris), the 2020 Mini Maousse competition is set in an environmental context and proposes a collective reflection for the defence of nature, starting from the issue of water. Each candidate has to design the Aquabane, a floating cabin between two banks (river, stream, lake, bay) with architecture that respects the environment and its uses on an island of under 50 m2.

A microarchitecture project is forming in the terrain between the beach of Nevers and the tern island: a pontoon designed as a blend of forces in movement and contemplation. A smooth transition between volumes, circulations, and views of the landscape was desired throughout the design stage. The notion of variation of heights and framings was kept in order to maximize the possibilities of the location. The idea comprises a spherical observatory with a pontoon in the middle surrounded by a place of exchange and crossroads (of ideas, books, meditation, conviviality, culture…), a poetic micro-architecture bearing ecological values. Regarding the ecology of the project, i have taken into account the aspects of sustainability mainly with regard to the choice of materials and the possibility of a modular structure which can also be prefabricated.
