minHuy an experimental pathway portfolio 2008-2014

OLYMPIC SWIMMING POOL AUBERVILLIERS

The new Olympic swimming pool is a project on two scales - the first being its international use while the other remains its municipal one. The important intentions of this construction serve to emphasize these two functions. They are reflected in the decision - making of the facade’s heights, the swimming pool’s locations and the outside planning. The objective of the lightweight roof is pushed to the extreme with cabled beams Jawerth supporting inflatable airbag in three layers.

UNITE DE RELOGEMENT (unity for rehousing)

UnitĂŠ de relogement lies the answer to a rather difficult question that of the renovation of housing towers and residential blocks. The theory and scenario of this architectural entity was sheer based on that purpose. The solution that we aim to uncover is applied to the 50m tower, tour Brunfaut, located next to the Brussels Ring Road as well as one of the five Peterbos housing blocks, in the same city. The studio was followed by Ministry of Housing of Brussles. And this final project was exhibited at the laCambre Horta Museum for a month.
