Legacy
Bodoni was designed in 1798 and it was classified as didone modern serif typeface. Bodoni was influended by the work of John Baskerville with the notion of high contrast. A typeface, Romains du Roi also influenced him by the flat and unbracketed serifs.He studied works from Pierre Simon Fournier and Firmin Didot.
