Things to do... Visit the Courtauld Gallery. Set in the elegant surroundings of Somerset House – great for a wander in itself – its collection stretches from the early Renaissance to the 20th century. Among Mini Moderns favorites are its unrivalled collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist paintings (so much better in the flesh) and an outstanding collection of decorative arts.
