Each furniture kit includes precision cut wooden parts and brass fittings, as well as detailed and easy-to-follow instructions for the assembly of a piece of miniature furniture.
The comprehensive assembly guide describes every step and provides easy-to-follow sketches and detailed drawings.
All wooden parts are precisely manufactured and, in some cases, come complete with grooves. This means that no cutting or sawing is required, and assembly is quick and easy. Sanding the wooden pieces down with fine sandpaper guarantees a velvety-smooth finish for your furniture.
The authentic look of an antique piece of furniture is achieved with the glaze or liquid wax or varnish.

The kit comes complete with all brass parts, such as hinges, pedals, a strap hinge and fully-functional casters. The assembly of this grand piano takes patience and skill. The surface finishing of the piano is particularly demanding, which is why this construction kit should only be assembled by experienced builders. The 12-page construction manual with 30 detailed drawings tells you how to assemble the piano step by step.
The attention to detail and precision of the grand piano construction kit is particularly evident when you scrutinize the workings of the completed piano. The addition of gold paint lends the wooden parts of the cast-iron frame a metallic appearance.
With a mahogany or cherry wood wax finish or appropriate glaze, the grand piano looks both refined and absolutely authentic. Finishing the model with liquid wax in shades of mahogany or a glaze is considerably easier than the highgloss finish in black or white, which requires a little more skill.

Dolls House “Villa Tara” This dolls house is 38 cm (15”) deep, it can be placed against the wall and requires very little space. All rooms are open to the front, and therefore all the furnishings are permanently visible. The ceiling height of the rooms is 280 mm (11”), this makes it easier to furnish and decorate the rooms. The open attic can be a painter’s studio, a domestic’s room, a sewing room or just a lumber-room. Even if you are not skilled in woodworking or other craft techniques, this dolls house is easy to build, without use of nails or screws. Parts are joined only by wood glue (see next page).
The MDF-kit (#90250) includes all Medium-DensityFibre boards for the ceilings, outside walls, dividing walls and the roof, all grooved and pre-cut, with all cutouts for the doors and windows, ready to finish the shell of the house. Even the grooves for the cables of all ceiling lamps are made. The set of building components (#90220) includes all doors, windows, dormers and the staircase for the dolls house “Villa Tara”. To cover the open front of the house, an acrylic glass sheet of about 3 mm (1/8“) thickness or real glass can be used. The whole pane is hold in position by only one loose and removable nail through the roof top.

Ready-to-go and very easy to build The MDF-kit for the Dolls House “Villa Tara” (#90250) The MDF-kit includes all of the wood panels for walls, floor and roof surfaces made from MDF (Medium Density Fibre panels) for building the “Villa Tara”. The panels are already provided with all of the cut-outs for windows, doors, the staircase and the grooves for the walls and cable ducts. Therefore, no additional sawing work is required. Even if you are not skilled in woodworking or other craft techniques, this dolls house is easy to build, without use of nails or screws. Parts are joined only by wood glue.
Assembling the “Villa Tara” with the extensively ilustrated instructions in the Builder’s Handbook is child’s play:

The two lower floors are now ready. The next step is to install the back wall of the attic into the vertical grooves of the outside walls. The included elastic expanders hold the parts together until the glue has dried,

The Large Townhouse This house with its 6 rooms, its 2 shops on the ground-floor and its large staircase is the spacioust MINI MUNDUS dolls house. The ceiling height of all rooms is 280 mm (11”). The MDF-kit (#90350) includes all of the MDF panels for the walls and floor which you need to build the “Large Townhouse” with hinged roof. The set of building components (#90320) includes all doors, windows and staircases. The roof can optionally be equipped with dormers (#50370 / #50371) as shown on the next page. Step by step without any tools
Even if you are not skilled in woodworking or other craft techniques, you can easily build this “Large Townhouse”. All parts are precisely machine cut to exact size. With the grooves the exact position of all parts is guaranteed and assembling is very easy, only using wood glue, so no nails or screws are needed either. With the extensively illustraded manual and the expander (= rubber cord) included with the MDFkit, it’s also as easy as pie to construct the “Large Townhouse” alone and without a “helping hand”. The floor coverings and the wallpaper can be applied prior to assembling. We are certain that you will have great fun building your new townhouse.

The window panes and door panels are made from real glass. They are scratch-proof and easy to clean. As opposed to plastic panels, they don’t attract dust. The real glass panes can be removed to make sanding and painting easier before the surfaces of the unpainted windows and doors are treated. The panes are inserted in slots and easily removed from the top.
All doors and windows are made from natural wood and delivered pre-assembled. The accompanying paneling strips are already cut to size and are glued to the frame after the door or window is installed.

leaves nothing to be desired The lightning system of Mini Mundus is very simple in its installation and yet versatile in its possibilities.
Cable conduits (#22220) Just like its larger counterparts, lighting cables for miniatures can be concealed under wall and ceiling “plaster�. Before assembling the house, cable conduits are placed in channels (grooves) under the flooring or under the wallpaper. Upon completion of the house, it is then easy to run lighting cable through the ducts.
Self-adhesive copper tape (#22250) If it is not possible to run channels under ceiling or wall boards, flat copper tape (#22250) can be used instead of lighting cable under the flooring or attached directly to the ceiling. All chandeliers are then linked up to the power supply with hidden sockets covered by the stucco rosettes (#22400, #22410, #22420). Instead of connecting all lighting leads individually to the transformer, the connections are bundled together and led via one or more power circuits to the transformer. Mini Mundus has a number of different systems available for this purpose. Copper tracks used instead of lighting cable
Distributor plate (#22300) The distributor plate is equipped with a LED for short-circuit display and a 4 ampere microfuse. Special connection terminals can be used to connect 8 indirect lighting bars (#20600), with a current consumption of 2 x 250 mA for each bar, or up to 70 lamp bulbs with each 50 mA. The ends of the lighting cables are simply inserted into the connection terminals of the distributor plate. In order to achieve a clear installation, you should install a distributor plate per floor, preferably at the rear wall of the house. Please ensure when purchasing a transformer that it provides adequate power for all of the room lights and the indirect lighting.
