Guatemala, March 21, Year of Abundance

When we listen a message from God, we have to put aside all pride and not let any word to fall on ground. Every time we listen to a rhema word, we have to receive it because it will activate our faith to make things happen. The Lord wants to prophecy upon our family in this opportunity, but we must understand the purpose of His heart. Lk 3:4 says: “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: Prepare the way of the Lord; Make His paths straight.”; this verse talks about John the Baptist and how his diet consisted in locust and honey. He started to preach with a prophetic voice telling how the way of the Lord was going to be prepared. The honey depicts God´s revelation, if we have understanding, we will be able to reject every false doctrine or pagan custom, such as Christmas. Let´s remember that the devil uses the Bible to teach false doctrines; he tried to do it with Jesus when he set Him on the pinnacle of the temple and said: “For it is written: He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you” Lk 4:9-10. Some actual false doctrines try to imitate the power of the Holy Spirit by doing false demonstrations and even allowing sin within the Church. In Lk 3:5 it says: “Every valley shall be filled and every mountain and hill brought low;” God is the only one that can give us balance through His doctrine and power. Now let´s see the locust which is an insect that is usually mentioned when God sends plagues. During his ministry, John used to eat locusts, this shows that the prophetic voice consumes the devourer that is trying to harm our homes. The locust depicts those situations that are plaguing our family, it could be sickness, debts, lack of job, shortage, lack of love; it might feel like an army of locusts eating and destroying everything. But nevertheless, God still wants to work a miracle since He is the God of the impossible. If we think that our situation is the worst case, we should not lose our faith, even when we see horrible things that try to defeat it. God´s prophetic voice is bringing healing to our inner self, even in those areas that were harmed since childhood. The Lord is saying with His mighty voice: “Comfort, yes, comfort My people! Speak to Jerusalem that her iniquity is pardoned;” Is 40:1-2. Christ paid for our sins when He went to the cross, therefore no one can come to accuse us saying otherwise. We have make a way for the Lord, every low place shall be filled and every high place brought low, which refers to an equilibrium in our soul. This means that the Lord wants the proud to be humble, and the fallen to rise up. If we are proud of heart, the Lord will make it humble through sufferings. God wants to work wonderful miracles in our home, but we have to believe His voice, His prophetic voice which says: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.” Acts 16:31. This opportunity the prophetic voice is saying that God can take you out of debts, out of shortage, the voice is saying: God will restore all the things that you have lost. As an example, poverty causes shame, but we as Christians must believe that God will cast out every devourer that walks about. Only those who believe in the prophetic Word of God will see abundance in all aspects of their lives, they will see how poverty will flee from them. The prophetic voice says: “This is your year! The shortage is over”. Our children will not experience the same calamities that we had. God wants to se our generations free but we must never forget what Mal 3:10 says about the tithe and the offering. In I Ki 17:3-4 God says to the prophet: “Get away from here and turn eastward, and hide by the Brook Cherith, which flows into the Jordan. And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” This passage shows that God can use every person or method to bless us; again God is talking to us in a prophetic way, the drought lasted three years and a half which means that God wants to save us from the period of great tribulation. While the world is suffering shortage, the Lord will hide us and will provide for our family abundantly. In summary, we can assure that God is calling those families that know that a plague is touching them. If we come to the Lord with a sincere heart, He will restore us and He will heal us; the Bible confirms this in Psalms 113:7-8 “He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap, that He may seat him with princes, with the princes of His people.”
