The homes of the Beloved Pastor Agustín García
Guatemala, March 28, Year of Abundance
In Psa 128:1-6 KJ2000, this is a great blessing that the Lord gives to our homes; but there are requirements that we find in Psa 127:1 KJ2000; the Lord edifies our home. Along all the scriptures we find several homes that the Lord visited. In Lc 19:4-5 KJ2000 we find the story of Zacchaeus who was little of stature; and in Lc 19:7-10 KJ2000 the people of Jericho were murmured because of Zacchaeus reputation and that the Lord had decided to stop by his house; later the Lord said that he was also son of Abraham and because of it the salvation had come to his house. Zacchaeus was a very wealthy man this means that he had abundance, let us remember that abundance is not only circumscribed to money and in spite of being son of Abraham he has not known Jesus. When the Lord comes into our house He breaks ties in our life; Jesus went into his house and transformed him because he was even willing to return if he had taken something from someone. When the Lord comes into our house He will change our children´s heart and we won´t have to force them to follow the Lord because we will preach them only with our example. Zacchaeus climbed up to a sycamore which represents the mounts and the mounts represents the over-abundance, and when we reach that place then the Lord calls us to come down because He wants to abide in our house. In Jos 2:1 KJ2000 talks when the Joshua sent two men to secretly spy to know the place of Jericho and they logded in the house of a harlot named Rahab; in Heb 12:6 KJ2000 talks about Esau who sold his birthright for a food and the Bible calls him immoral and profane and as much as the harlot and the man who lies with her is called a profane too, so let us notice the kind of woman she was. In Lc 7:36-46 KJ2000 this is another man who invited Jesus to his house, and he was a Pharisee and the Lord Jesus Christ accepted and there was a woman there who stood to his feet and she started to kiss His feet and anointed them with the ointment and this action of her brought forgiveness to her life. We need to practice what we read on the Bible. In Jer 18:1-6 KJ2000 perhaps we are tired of our work but we still search the Lord´s face, the Lord see our effort and will increase our forces. The Lord can change our life, and rescue our marriage and our family because there is nothing impossible for God. We might be eager to preach or to be sent to a work but if we still have things unpleasant to the Lord, we need to be changed by Him, just like the previous verse talks about vessel when it is wrong it must be broke and made it again. The Lord compares us with vessels in His hands. In Rev 3:20 KJ2000 says that the Lord is knocking to our door and if we hear Him and let Him in He will eat with us and we with them. The Lord wants to change our life. Just like Zacchaeus and the woman in the house of the Pharisee recognized that they had a need in their heart and they dwelled to His feet we must do. The Lord is not ashamed to call us His children in spite of us: just let surrender our life, our house and He will work
