The revelation of the Bread of Life Apostle Fernando Ortíz.
Fourth Service
Guatemala, March 22 Year of Abundance
This is the revelation of the Bread of Life, our Lord Jesus Christ. The world is expecting the abundance from God and we are in charge of spreading the good news around this world. If we do not have compassion of the lost souls we are not passionate about the Lord. At the Table of the Lord we find several things and objects that have deep meaning: Cup of suffering, Cup of the Blood of the new Covenant and the Cup of blessing The Lord Jesus Christ taught us, in Jn 6:32-34 describing that He was the Bread of Life that came from God to give us life, but we must wonder why the enemy of our souls challenged the Lord Jesus Christ with “bread”: bread is something sacred, because is the revelation of bread that transforms our churches and congregations in something new; also bread is baked in the oven, when it is cooked its smells releases the aromas of all its ingredients. Another type of bread is the one that is baked in the ashes, that represent the pain and suffering that the Lord suffered as punishment of all of our sins, and the third way of baking bread is in an underground oven and it is done this way so its smell it is not perceived and not seen by anyone; as our Lord that when He give away His life He went down to the bottom of the ashes and defeated death to give us life and life abundantly. The revelation of the Bread of Life is no matter how much we have suffered the Lord will always support us, because He makes us more than conquerors. In Gen 3:17-18 that describes the consequences of sin as thorns and thistles; as Mat 13:22 the one that was planted in the thorns, that represents the stress of this time. How can we remove this with the revelation of the Bread of Life, in the book of Genesis we read that with the sweat of our face we will eat our bread, Lk 22:24 as sweat that came as drops of blood, we do not have to eat suffering or stressed that drown the Word. Sometimes when we preach the Word we might believe it is falling into thorns but we must know that our Lord Jesus Christ died so we do not feel neither stressed nor worried. Because the soldiers webbed and crown of thorns over His head, Jn 19:2, as the stressed felt over our heads. The bread of life and slavery
Gen 47:18-19 “Why should we die before your eyes, both we and our land? Buy us and our land for food, and we with our land will be servants to Pharaoh. And give us seed that we may live and not die, and that the land may not be desolate." How many people have sold their souls to buy bread they are slaves of working; this is why they do not live in peace; because our Bread of Life changes our stress or worries for joy, Ec 9:7. Ec 2:22 “What has a man from all the toil and striving of heart with which he toils beneath the sun?” the people that do not rest and are not in peace at work they pay with health issues in their bodies, it is because they have not received the true revelation of the Bread of Life. We must enjoy what we do, and feel fortunate for the job we have.
The bread of life and freedom
Mt 15:26-28 “And he answered, "It is not right to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs." We see how great the faith of this woman that change the mind of the Lord and performed a miracle for her life.
The bread of life and unity
1 Co 10:16 “The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ?” the revelation of the Bread of Life and we must participate in order to have life abundantly. Mr 8:14-21 “Now they had forgotten to bring bread, and they had only one loaf with them in the boat. And he cautioned them, saying, "Watch out; beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the leaven of Herod." And they began discussing with one another the fact that they had no bread. And Jesus, aware of this, said to them, "Why are you discussing the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" They said to him, "Twelve." "And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?" And they said to him, "Seven." And he said to them, "Do you not yet understand?” The bread of multiplication and we read that with seven breads He fed 4,000 people, and with 5 fed 5,000 and with one He would had fed 9,000 people. This is why it asks the question: Do you understand”.
The Bread of Life reveals that the lessen we have the more we depend on our giving and caring God. The less we have the more powerful our God is and we are able to see how mighty and powerful is our God because His blessed hand is in everything we need; all stress and bargain; all need of health issue we have the Lord will take care of it; because we were healed by His sacrifice. This is the revelation we must see in our life and we will if we have faith. AMEN!
