The Foundations of the Beginning (II) Sixth Communion Service Apostle Sergio G. Enriquez O. Guatemala, May 8th Year of Abundance

When we talk about the Communion service we should be clear about what it means or its depth and the reasons we do it, also why it is compared with the baptizing in water; because when we are submerged in waters we die to our “old man” so when we come out of the water we make ourselves one with the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. At the Communion we have two symbols: one the bread that represents death and two wine that represents life. Now well in some places the relevance to the doctrine of the Communion nor baptizing is not given, they rather teach other earthily doctrines before teaching what it is eternal. Let´s remember that if we are not baptized, it is like we do not participate of the Communion, we do not have eternal life and Jesus won’t resuscitate us. This is why we need to return to the foundations of the beginning and learn what was done at the beginning of the Church so we return to the eternal path. It is sad that as time passed by the Church left God’s path and instead of being taught in what we have to follow and close the gates to the enemy and deceive do not enter the Church; many are pursuing the fantasy in which the world kept them trapped. We need to return to the eternal path and gird our loins of our understanding. At the beginning of Church, Jewish was the ones who participated of the revival, but we are not saying that in order to return to the beginning the Church has to convert to Judaism because the reality is that they had the chance to be Christians. The Bible teaches us that the day of Pentecostal 120 people converted then 5000, an increase of 4166% approximately but the foundation was 120; today we might be seeing that some are being used by God as the foundation of the truth, but in order to do this it is necessary to be clear in how to do it, it is necessary to read the following verse: Acts 2:42 (NKJ) And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. 1.- Learning 2.- Sharing 3.- Participating 4.- Praying There are 4 basis points that we need to understand in order to live as the beginning of the Church. Hebrews 5:8 (ESV) Although he was a son, he learned obedience through what he suffered. What we will learn is obedience, how? By suffering; now well, the Bible says that the one who lives pitifully will suffer but God will help him or her; so in order not to suffer in vain, we need to let ourselves be shaped by His loving hand, because in the right moment we will understand the reasons we are suffering. Another thing we see in this verse is that the person it is being referred is our Lord Jesus Christ; so if He being perfect and did everything well, suffered to learn obedience why we won’t suffer? Jesus is perfect, He is God, but we are not, so we must be winning about the storms we might be living; let’s remember that if someone doesn’t suffer

will be very difficult for this person to learn, mainly when he or she is humiliated, because from this lesson we will learn and very hardly we will forget and commit the same mistake.

Titus 3:14 (ESV) And let our people learn to devote themselves to good works, so as to help cases of urgent need, and not be unfruitful. One of the many things we learn from this verse is that when doing good deeds instead of seeking the way of revenge from evil things that happened. Philippians 4:11 (ESV) Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. Who is speaking here is Paul the Apostle learned to be happy no matter the situations he would had lived; is what we need to learn because salvation given by Jesus is enough to justify to live forever happily no matter what the world might do against us.
