The days of the apocalypse (III) Third Service Apostle Sergio G. Enriquez O. Guatemala, May 1st. Year of Abundance
The development of the bride Church of the Lord is eschatological, thus we need to study what the Bible says about it. According to what we have explained in former studies, eschatology is a compound word meaning “study of the final times”. Guided by the Scriptures, this time begun when Jesus died and resurrected; therefore, we can understand we are living in the last days. Now let us observe some things that will come to pass during the Revelation days, since in this timeline, the Bible has marked things that will happen, for us to be aware of the soon return of our beloved Lord Jesus Christ. Among the signs our good God established, we can denote two groups: 1) Signs before the secret coming of the Lord, before tribulation, which typify the days of Noah. 2) Signs for the day before the public coming of the Lord, tribulation, which represent the days of Lot. Luke 17:28 ESV Likewise, just as it was in the days of Lot—they were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building, According to this Bible verse, we see during the term of the days of Lot, six things specifically happened, as follows: -They were eating and drinking -They were buying and selling -They were planting and building Let us notice the aforementioned are things we all do on daily basis; then, how is it that these six things become signs of ending times? When these things are extracted from the regular context, they become signs of the last days; in other word, when we do these things in a displeasing way before God. Let us focus in the signs of buy and sell, to exemplify this: Leviticus 25:14 ESV And if you make a sale to your neighbor or buy from your neighbor, you shall not wrong one another. Buying and selling is not wrong, what’d be wrong, according to this verse, is to sell a defective product which will harm the buyer. In many occasions, it is reasonable that we need to negotiate certain things, especially if we own a business, however to do wrong to a client, would become a sign of the last days, since this typifies greed in our hearts. Therefore, our mindsets must change, in order to negotiate wisely, and if we are looking forward to increase our income, for us to do it in a way that is honorable and worthy before the eyes of God.

The days of the apocalypse (III) Third Service Apostle Sergio G. Enriquez O. Guatemala, May 1st. Year of Abundance
Isaiah 55:1 ESV Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. The Merriam-Webster dictionary defines “To buy” as to acquire possession, ownership, or rights to the use or services of by payment especially of money; however, in this verse we clearly see God is inviting us to buy wine and milk at no charge. How can this be? When we struggle and all we care about is to please the Lord, and to seek Him wholeheartedly, He blesses us; not only spiritually, but also materially providing everything we might need. 1 Samuel 9:7-10 ESV Then Saul said to his servant, “But if we go, what can we bring the man? For the bread in our sacks is gone, and there is no present to bring to the man of God. What do we have?” The servant answered Saul again, “Here, I have with me a quarter of a shekel of silver, and I will give it to the man of God to tell us our way.” (Formerly in Israel, when a man went to inquire of God, he said, “Come, let us go to the seer,” for today's “prophet” was formerly called a seer.) And Saul said to his servant, “Well said; come, let us go.” So they went to the city where the man of God was. Here we see both Saul and his servant, and how they did not dare to present themselves before the man of God without a gift for him; this teaches us that we must not present ourselves before the Lord empty handed. Genuine worship should always flow from our lips to Him, since as the psalmist stated, we will not present offerings that cost us nothing to the Lord. This is intimately linked to the efforts many of us do day by day, which do not necessarily bring a monetary reward. On the other hand, what God wants is that we do not depend on money or deceitful selling, but on Him alone. Genesis 37:36 NIRV But the traders from Midian sold Joseph to Potiphar in Egypt. Potiphar was one of Pharaoh’s officials. He was the captain of the palace guard. Something we must never sell is one of our brethren in Christ; according to the aforementioned verse. Though Joseph was literally sold, there are also several ways to sell our brethren; for example: betrayal, false testimony about them, etc. Thus, let us ask the Lord to empower us to participate wisely in buying and selling, for us to do it in the rightful order establish by God.
