The client was starting a no-kill animal shelter called Vinova Animal Haven of Charlotte and needed full branding. The client came up with the name by combining two Latin words: vita, meaning life and nova, meaning new. I designed a logo, website, letterhead, envelope, business card, and bumper sticker. I custom designed the VINOVA typeface.

The client presents a concert every year to CPCC Music Appreciation students. The client needed a poster along with other branding items. I took an advertising approach with my poster design. After much research, I developed insight as to why people don’t go to symphony concerts. I designed my poster to speak to those individuals who don’t go to symphony concerts because of negative preconceived ideas.

People are more times to crash while texting and driving.

This was academic work creating awareness for the danger of texting and driving. I took a typographical approach because a text is made up of words. The famous “Sticks and Stones” quote was perfect copy for this poster.

The client produces magazines to be sold by homeless and low-income individuals. The client needed a design for the second issue. One of the desires of the client was to have a design that had a lot of white space and large photographs. The client provided all copy and photographs.

APPAREL Mode Noir

The client held a T-shirt design contest for its CIAA Fashion Week. The theme of the design was arts, fashion, and culture. I custom designed the words: ARTS, FASHION, and CULTURE.
