Only In Canada... Iceberg Alley Iceberg Alley spans from the coast of Labrador to the southeast coast of the island of Newfoundland and is one of the best places in the world for viewing Icebergs. Icebergs are edges of glaciers that have broken off and slipped into the ocean. Roughly 90% of icebergs that pass through Iceberg Alley come from the glaciers of western Greenland, while the rest come from glaciers in Canada’s Arctic.

Ice Explorer ride onto Athabasca Glacier, Canadian Rockies The Athabasca Glacier is approximately 3.7 miles long, covers an area of 2.3 sq miles, and is measured to be between 90–300 metres (300–980 ft) thick. The glacier currently recedes at a rate of about 5 metres (16 ft) per year and has lost over half of its volume in the past 125 years. The leading edge of the glacier is within easy walking distance; however, travel onto the glacier is not recommended unless properly equipped. The best way to explore the Athabasca Glacier is aboard a specially designed snow coach, that is purpose built to travel over the steep grades, snow and ice, safely transporting visitors part the way up the glacier.

Great Bear Rainforest small ship cruise, British Columbia A 7 night up close and personal cruise of the Great Bear Rainforest region sailing in a 69ft ketch. A coastal British Columbia nature cruise that will take you to remote areas of the Inside Passage. We voyage along the Inlet’s winding shores and expect some wonderful bear viewing in the Khutzeymateen Conservancy and the remote grizzly sanctuary. We look forward to exploring the outer islands, watching Steller sea lions on the hunt and at play. While ashore, we walk along rugged beaches and take the time for hikes to explore a hanging bog to discover its varied vegetation. Each day, we enjoy our time for incredible sea kayaking among rock studded anchorages.

Volcano & Ice Cave Helicopter ride, Whistler Enjoy a 75 min scenic mountainous helicopter flight from Whistler to the ancient Mount Meager Volcano. A quick stop at the Volcano to discover the deep cavern venting steam fringed by dramatic backdrops. You will then be transported over the formations of ancient glaciers to enjoy the rare beauty of glacial caverns. Enjoy the interpretive tour by a highly trained guide as they walk you through the blue rooms & multiple tunnels of azure blue crystalline formations and impressive vaulted ceilings of ancient remote ice caves. Total travel time to/from the ice caves is 75 mins return. This year-round experience includes lunch, setup in one of the ice caves.

Jurassic Adventure in Southern Alberta 10 Days In prehistoric times, much of North America was a lush subtropical habitat embracing a vast inland sea. This is where the dinosaurs roamed 70 million years ago. Fast forward to present-day central and southern Alberta where their bones now rest in ancient riverbeds, framed by the maroon-striped canyons of the mysterious Canadian Badlands. Find yourself a little bit out there. Wander through the cottonwoods along the banks of meandering rivers. There is nowhere quite like the Drumheller Valley; Dinosaur Capital of Canada! Being here will take you into another world - the world of startling contrasts between the deep past and the exciting present. Rolling fields suddenly give way to steep, dry coulees ridged with the strata of hundreds of years of erosion by time, wind and water.
