The custom designed nature of our items plus our saavy industry knowledge means that weâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ll work hard to tailor a package to fit your budget, while giving you all the items you need to have a uniquely beautiful day. Although each of our coupleâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s needs are different our average client budgets $2500+ for their stationery.

INVITATION + STATIONERY DESIGN All clients who book our team for any of the services listed below receive a Creative Consultation + Inspiration Board. Working with the finest vendors and the highest quality materials that match your budget, our in house designer creates one of a kind invitation suites, stationery, and coordinating details that will impress your guests. HOW ARE YOUR DESIGNS DIFFERENT FROM THE PRETTY STATIONERY I SEE ON ETSY AND MINTED? While there are many beautiful templated designs available on the internet, our work is completely custom designed for you. We never reuse a design created for someone else and tailor your pieces to specifically fit your vision. After all, this day is about the love you share with your fiance and the things that make your relationship unique. Why recreate something that’s been pinned thousands of times on Pinterest when you could (and should!) have wedding stationery that’s completely and uniquely yours?

DO I SEE MY ITEMS BEFORE THEY ARE PRINTED AND DELIVERED? Yes! Our two step digital proofing process is a seamless and fast way to view and approve all of the stationery items we create for you. Instead of waiting for samples and proofs to arrive in the mail, you simply view a high resolution PDF, request any changes needed and then it’s off to the printer! This digital proofing process is an efficient way to move the creative process along, ensuring your items are delivered to you on time. If you live outside of the Milwaukee area we are happy to mail you paper and printing samples for you to touch and feel.

Use this quick formula to estimate how much you should budget for your wedding stationery. We promise it’s not as intimidating as it seems and we’ll walk you through each part. We’ve seen too many brides scrambling just weeks before their wedding trying to print out their own programs or write their own escort cards because they didn’t know how much to budget for their stationery! Take the number of guests you’ll be inviting and divide it in half (each couple gets an invitation, not each person) to find the number of invitations you’ll need. If you are inviting a large amount of single guests, add 15-20 to your quantity to be safe.

Cost per invitation can vary greatly depending on the speciality papers, printing and add ons (ribbon, envelope liner, vintage stamps) you might choose. Use the range below to find an estimated cost then write the number above in the Cost/Inivtation blank. If you’re obsessed with all things paper (like us) your cost will likely be closer to the Luxe end. If you’re totally fine with a standard three piece invitation suite with coordinating envelopes and no bells and whistles (yep, our invitations start at just $6 for a full suite!), opt for something closer to the Basic end. Don’t forget that standard USPS postage will cost around $1.25/invitation (we’ve factored that into these numbers).

WEDDING INVITATION BUDGET x 2 = ESTIMATED BUDGET

Now that you know how much you’ll likely spend on wedding invitations, multiply that number by 2 to find your total wedding stationery budget. This number gives you a good jumping off point for all of those additional stationery pieces you may forget about in your beginning planning phase like programs, menus, escort cards, thank you cards, signage and even Save the Dates. Expect to spend about the same amount on all of these pieces as you do on your wedding invitations.

Hello Lovely! We are Emilee + Haley, the owners of Mint & Lovely Studios, a boutique design studio specializing in wedding invitations + stationery. Congratulations on your engagement! While this is a very exciting time in your life we know it also comes with additional stress. It might seem easiest to grab the premade invitations at the craft store but don’t underestimate the importance of custom designed stationery as a way to add a personalized touch to your big day. We understand, you’re not an expert at getting married. That’s why we’ve created this simple stationery checklist + helpful timeline to get you started.

TIMELINE 1 BOOK YOUR STATIONER 6 MONTHS-1 YEAR before the wedding don’t overlook the importance of your wedding stationery! book early to ensure you can work with a stationer who’s work you love. you might be surprised to know that many local stationers pricing matches or beats that of the big online companies.

2 SEND OUT SAVE THE DATE 6-10 MONTHS before the wedding send your save the date 6-8 months before your wedding. this will give guests plenty of time to request time off and clear their calendar, especially if yours falls near a holiday or during the busy summer months. send closer to the 8 month mark if many of your guests are from out of town and will need to make special travel plans. for a destination wedding, let your guests know 8-10 months ahead of time.

3 SEND OUT INVITATION 6-12 WEEKS before the wedding send your invitation 6-8 weeks before your wedding if most of your guests are local, 8-10 weeks if many of your guests are from out of town and 10-12 weeks if you are having a destination wedding. *rsvp due date: find out when your caterer needs a final headcount then work backward one week (time to track down those last few rsvps!), this will give you your RSVP due date. ex: final headcount due may 12, rsvps due may 5.
