Hi! My name is Natira Wongpaitoon or Mint (much easier). I am graduating from Service Design Innovation course this year, 2014. I am keen to adapt my knowledge and skills to the real-world challenges. !
Graphic design experience combined with passion for service design allows me to see thing from multiple perspective. A holistic approach of service design could enhance design solution to another level of experience. !
I am eager to get involved in multidisciplinary team to solve design problems and working collaboratively to create innovation solution. It is always interesting to get into someone’s shoes, be empathy and experience what the person actually needs before he/she realise it. It is challenging and appearing to not knowing the prior outcome but it is also rewarding to see the final solution, isn’t it? !
I will be ready to start as soon as the beginning of 2015.
— Service design is a new creative way of solving problem by using humancentred to create innovative solution —

IDEATION AND CO-‐CREATION
Identified problems •
Being unable to do things and contribute to the community can be very demotivating (perhaps more so for men than for women)
•
Those who are not categorised as having substantial or critical needs don’t receive the same support from official networks
•
Support over the weekends and during evening hours depends heavily on neighbours, friends and family – an informal network which some elderly don’t have
•
Budget cuts from authorities mean that elderly have to contribute more and more every year (big issue for some)

IDEATION AND CO-‐CREATION
Ideation Customised knitting
Words of wisdom
Dating for elderly
Using the knitting produced by the elderly to raise funding and awareness.
Writing the elderly people's stories and using it to raise money through donation. Some phrases (words of wisdom) could be printed on mugs or t-shirts and sold.
Dating service through post. A central office would match people and they would then write letters to each other.
